Having gone out to do suitably vacation like things yesterday, Tony felt he deserved day of research. Like a reward. His idea of fun was not sane fun.

So, for now, running searches on this Mandarin guy on his laptop.

Since sleeping late was a mandatory part of vacationing, Karla was doing her level best to comply. This morning, however, Raven was making that very, very difficult. There were some kind of weird...noises...coming from her side of the room.

Cracking open an eyelid, Karla groggily asked, "What are you doing?"

Seaside Yoga

With all the classes here, Jaina kind of thought she'd be remiss if she didn't try at least one of them. It'd be easy enough to call it part of her training routine. So she'd picked the yoga thing because she'd never done it before, and the description looked like something that might benefit her.

And while it was good for flexibility and strength and all, um... Jaina was bored out of her mind doing this. At least it wasn't an all day class or anything. She just had to make it through... an hour and a half. Great. She'd spend twice that at the fitness center or running on the beach or something in order to make up for this.

Even on vacation, Ender liked his routine. And with his routine came his fitness schedule. So of course he was spending the first few hours of his day on the treadmill and doing various other exercises.

And then going for a swim.

Predictable.

Brown's Deli

Jeremy had started out his day by heading to the shops to see if he couldn't find himself some of those 'emergencies' his sister had been out for yesterday.

By the afternoon, he was seated at Brown's Deli with an excellent cup of coffee and a couple of shopping bags on the seat next to him. His hunt had been a success, life was good, and he had a little smile on his face as he peoplewatched.

If you thought that Anakin Skywalker would voluntarily be near either a beach full of sand or a tour of a volcano, you were out of your mind.

Instead he was by the pool (with a rigidly enforced sand-free zone around his lounger) holding office hours.

Sort of.

If you expanded the definition to include sunbathing and drinking fruity beverages.

Jonothon was not nearly drunk enough to be wearing his current attire.

Jonothon would never be drunk enough to be wearing his current attire. But that wasn't stopping him from finding a place in the Lounge, almost the instant that it was open, to be grumpy at the world at large.

Grumpy partly because he did not approve of the loud shirt that he was wearing, and partly because... Because he was Jonothon, and he'd take any excuse to be antisocial in a very social area. And the drinks on the bar menu looked good. Especially to someone who couldn't enjoy them.

Leia had decided she was spending every morning in this place. Today it was the Lomilomi massage, which would be followed by the Awa Earth & Fire detoxifying treatment. Bliss.

Quinn was thoroughly blissed out by the time her exfoliation treatment was finished. This definitely made for a better way to start a day than climbing a mountain.

Robin had spent the last few days lying on the beach and only waking up to turn over or apply more sunscreen. Today, though, she went in for a full exfoliating treatment and massage. Because she was on vacation, and she was going to come back looking super-hot.

Summer decided today was a good day to treat herself to a manicure and pedicure. And if she was feeling up to it afterwards, she might get a massage.

Rinoa hadn't slept well. Again. And so she was going to take today off, and not worry about anything that she didn't need to think about.

And she was going to splurge on one of the spa packages, while she was at it. One with massages and exfoliation and being pampered within an inch of her life.

No, seriously, since Jaina was already on the beach after yoga, she decided just to start with a run there. At least she didn't have to worry about stretching out first.

Today, Dolf was going to learn how to snorkel.

Not by being clever and taking the snorkel course, of course. By buying a cheap snorkel, yanking it over his head, and trusting that he'd put enough suntan lotion on himself to keep him from catching fire and burning to a crisp.

He soon learned about the hazards of getting salt water in your goggles, the creepiness of Moray eels, and the fact that one looked very silly padding around a beach with a snorkel on your head.

One might think that Zoe had had her fill of sand after spending much of her life on Rim planets, but being on a nice beach was a totally different experience. Plus, she would never deny Grace anything that she wanted, and today, that meant letting her build a sand castle by the water's edge while Zoe stayed a small distance away. Someone was trying to be independent, and Zoe thought it was pretty darn adorable.

Kate had come down to the beach for the seaside yoga at eight o'clock this morning as well, and here she was staying. For a good chunk of the morning, at least. Later she was planning on some shopping or something.

But for now, it was the sun and the water, and she waded around knee-deep along the shoreline.

Caroline had started her day with a little surfing (mainly because the instructor had been totally cute), but after she could be found lounging on a towel in the sand, really wishing she could tan just the tiniest bit. Oh well, at least she knew she'd never end up looking like a lobster.

Bod figured a sunburn was in the making but he couldn't really stay off the beach for the entire trip. The sand was just too arm and the water too blue. Hawaii wasn't a place he'd ever seen and probably wouldn't see again so he'd take advantage while he could.

For the view he was currently taking in while stretched out in the sand, he'd take the sunburn. It wouldn't be so bad. Besides, he had suncream if it was needed.

After spending last night sleeping in the lobby, Nathan had wandered back out onto the beach, stretching and a little sore. The beach being warm made him feel a little better so he figured he'd just take a seat and bury his toes in the sand.

It was a little too warm for jeans and shirts so he'd gone for shorts and a light t-shirt which was easily tossed aside if he wanted to go for a swim. For now, he was just leaning back on his hands, watching any hot chick that might be around or pass him by.

Raven had been looking forward to experiencing the volcanoes. She was sad, however, that her clothing hadn't returned to normal that morning, so she was stuck wearing one of the dresses that someone had left for her. But at least she still had her cloak to wear over it in case of rain or cold.
