Kohala Coast, Hawaii | Morning & Afternoon | Tuesday | February 22nd
Everyone should feel sorry for the poor bastards left behind in Fandom where snow collected atop the ice that coated the ground overnight. But in Hawaii, everything was sunny, warm, and beautiful. It was paradise, and everyone there should take advantage!

Re: The Beach
"For the record, there isn't surfing on the Hellmouth," he told her, choppily trying to imitate her movements on the surfboard. "There's a beach, but it's quite far. The town itself is desert."
Just, you know, in case that was what she was thinking.
Re: The Beach
"Sure as hell's closer than New York, though, huh?" Okay, that way lay morose thinking, and Hawaii was not the place for it. "Plus who has time for surfing with all the crazy stuff going down, anyway. Points for Hawaii on that level and all."
She eyed an incoming wave and stretched out on her stomach along the board, paddling to angle herself toward the shore. "Wanna try this one? Standing totally optional for the first round."
Sure, she could've shown off and tried to stand up for this, but A) she didn't feel like wiping out herself, and B) she apparently took teaching people things kind of seriously.
Re: The Beach
He turned his board around so he was angled the same way she was, a full-watt expression of we're-all-gonna-die on his face, and waited for the wave.
And waited.
And then turned around to see if it was even coming at all, at which point, of course, the wave actually chose to arrive. He didn't immediately fall off the board, which he considered an enormous plus, but he was clutching the board for dear life, so that had something to do with it.
Aaaaand... he survived. Ta-da!
Re: The Beach
She snickered. "Even though oh my god, you so looked like it would be."
Re: The Beach
Yes, he'd changed his tune.
Re: The Beach
Wheeeeee, she so won, huh?
Re: The Beach
"You know, I think I'm getting quite go--"
And then a bigger wave hit and he kind of wiped out. Fail, Wes.
