Having gone out to do suitably vacation like things yesterday, Tony felt he deserved day of research. Like a reward. His idea of fun was not sane fun.

So, for now, running searches on this Mandarin guy on his laptop.

So yesterday's mission had been to inject a little color in certain people's lives. Today's? To make sure *other* certain people actually got out and did vacationy things. Which would be why on one of his breaks from the beach, Bobby was knocking on Tony's door.

"The room has already been cleaned," Tony shouted, flicking through the information he'd managed to get so far. Which wasn't much at all. Because someone wasn't going to take a peak at SHIELD files.

Suffice to say, tidying was not his forte.

There was a pause before Tony opened the door and peered out. "At least Mr. Rogers never yelled at you for fixing the vacuums."

"at least someone does," Bobby said with a dramatic sigh as he stepped inside the room ad looked around curiously. "Whatcha doin'?" he asked, spotting the computer. Nerd stuff, he'd bet.

Room 525

Since sleeping late was a mandatory part of vacationing, Karla was doing her level best to comply. This morning, however, Raven was making that very, very difficult. There were some kind of weird...noises...coming from her side of the room.

Cracking open an eyelid, Karla groggily asked, "What are you doing?"

"Look at this!" Raven said, near a-flail. She waved the dress toward Karla's side of the room. "I cannot wear this!"

It was ORANGE.

Indeed it was. Very orange. Orange enough to wake Karla up a little more. She peered at the dress in Raven's hand.

"Is that mine?" she asked. It didn't look like one of hers--Karla went for cool colors usually--but it could have been? Maybe? "Do you need to borrow clothing or something?"

She hadn't had coffee yet. Don't blame her.

"It was in my suitcase," Raven said mournfully. "All my clothes have been transformed somehow. I was hoping they would be normal this morning, but...."

She pulled out a tank top and pouted at it.

"Well, that top's actually kind cute..." Karla said, before Raven's words sank in. "Wait--that's yours?! But it's not black!"

Brilliant deduction, Karla.

"Oh, Mother Night! Do you think my clothes have changed, too?"

"I did not think to check yours," Raven said. She wasn't the type to go poking around in her friends belongings, either. Well, not unless there was a very good reason.

"Perhaps you should check?" she suggested. So she could share her pain!

That was enough to get Karla out of bed, at least. Reaching for her suitcase, she opened it up, pulling out her clothing.

Blue, blue, green, blue, long skirt, long skirt, blue, blue, silver, blue, long skirt...

"Mine looks all right," she said with a relieved sigh.

"Why did only my clothing change?" Raven said. "This is not fair. I cannot wear these clothes!"

Well, she could, she was just too horrified to do so.

Raven and Karla did not wear the same size. Not at all. In anything.

"Maybe they have something suitable in one of the stores?" she suggested. "You could wear something just long enough to see?"

Because Hawaii was known for its affection for black.

"I will have to check," she said, nodding. Though she already had a bad feeling the island didn't cater to the goth crowd.

Not her, of course. She wouldn't be caught dead in stuff like that. But most people!

"You are just saying that to make me feel better," Raven sulked, crossing her arms and giving Karla a Terribly Wounded look. Surely she had to realize what a Serious Matter this was. Couldn't she hear all the capital letters?
