Everyone should feel sorry for the poor bastards left behind in Fandom where snow collected atop the ice that coated the ground overnight. But in Hawaii, everything was sunny, warm, and beautiful. It was paradise, and everyone there should take advantage!

Ender supposed he couldn't hang around the resort all week - or rather, he could, but it was crowded, and he should make at least a little of an effort to get out and see something. He decided to join one of the tours; he could always break away if he was tired of the crowd, and as it stood, he could just listen and learn about the area.

Of course, about ten minutes in, his phone beeped, and he found out that Jane had figured out how to use the mobile phone network.

Better be careful. Your tour guide has a recent DUI. Jump for it if he goes for a bottle. --J
