Kellerman's Resort, Tuesday Morning and Afternoon, October 13th

The weather at Kellerman's continued to be favourable, as the autumn sun shone down on the fields and streams of the area. The staff of the resort were busy but happy to help, bustling through the corridors and courtyard.

The boards outside were advertising a white water rafting trip today, for anyone willing to go out and risk the rapids; for the less adventurous, a trip to see the Cascade Falls might just do the trick.

Rooms contain two twin beds with a private bath. Ping in with your cottage name and room # to prevent any confusion over the similarly named rooms!

It was a decent morning. They were going to go down to the pool again - early, this time, and Arthur couldn't find it in him to disagree, because at least it made for good morning training and distraction if you just swam enough laps - and Arthur felt that it was best to go prepared this time.

Last time, his underwear had suffered in the changing room. He didn't want to talk about it.

So he'd headed into the bathroom, yanked on his swimwear, checked his hair (which was tamed, this time) taken a drink of water, and padded back into the living room ready to proceed on with the day.

Alex was planning on actually venturing outside today but he figured he could get in a game of pool before that. It'd give him some time to get some caffeine and food in him and enjoy the fact that he'd been sleeping decently for a few days now.

The movie theater was showing a Disney marathon that morning, so Didi was ensconced in the theater, munching popcorn and watching princesses find their princes.

She loved a good happy ending.

Hurley's idea of 'getting out and doing something' wasn't exactly the same as most peoples'. He had sat down and started playing something that involved shooting zombies.

It was oddly cathartic. And he didn't have to think.

God help them all, Arthur had gained a strange fascination with the foosball table after passing by it on three seperate occasions (once while the game was being played).

He did not understand the purpose of it. It looked like an altogether more stationary, simplified, and vastly more violent version of chess, which is to say it looked nothing like chess at all.

By the fourth time, he finally stopped by the table and began to poke and prod at things, figuring out how to use the figurines to kick the ball around. If they were all lucky, it might actually keep him distracted for more than a minute or two.

Diana was feeling very lazy today, so she decided to lounge around the activity barn, still in her pajama pants and a t-shirt proudly proclaiming "My Sister's Boy-Toy Went to Hell and All I Got Was This Lousy T-shirt". The video games seem to have caught her attention at the moment.

Ellie decided it was a good day to be lazy, so she sat on a couch in the sitting room. She channel surfed for a little while before opting to read a book instead.

Chuck was far more of an indoors person, a fact that probably came as no surprise to anyone that even vaguely knew him, and picked video games as a way to spend his morning.

Mario Kart, to be precise. One of the great advantages to this new century. He was going to get such gaming withdrawal if he ever had to go home.

For lounging around (or in) the pool, hitting up the hot tub or the sauna, or getting a relaxing treatment at the spa!

Having enjoyed the swim in the pool a few days ago, Jonas was back there again, a little more certain this time. He slipped in but kept to the shallow end, wading slowly.

He cupped a handful of water with his hands and splashed it on his face and hair before shaking it off and out, enjoying the slow drops of water that he could see falling from his nose and eyelashes.

While he knew the answer to the question, Jonas really couldn't see why swimming hadn't been more prevalent in the Community. It was fun and relaxing and fascinating.

Kelly had like totes painted her nails before they left, omigod, but she still totally hit up the spa for a mani-pedi. 'Cause she was on vacation, okay? And thus, she was also annoying the manicurist by reading aloud from Cosmo.

Sookie hadn't hit the pool the past couple days, and while she wasn't the strongest swimmer, and it was an indoor pool, she still periodically splashed around in the water or else lounged in a chair with a trashy book.

She didn't have her usual sunglasses, though.

Alex decided to spend part of her morning in the hot tub. She might hit up the spa after that. For now, she was content to just relax and not think about anything.

Dinah was making up for lack of her usual workout by doing more laps; and planning on hitting the hot tub afterward. She dove into the water quickly, and then started her stroke, quick and clean.

After some time out hiking, Clark thought a quick dip in the pool would be just the thing. Not taking advantage of an indoor pool would have been wrong.

First thing Effy was going to do with her day, was wake herself up with a decent swim. She hadn't done anything like that, really, since her last trip out to the water park back in Bristol.

A couple of moments considering the water, and she dived in at the deep end, and would be spending the next little while floating lazily on the water. Way to make a morning.

Lois was here rly wasn't about to let a day go by without spending some time at the pool. She tended to forget that there was a pool at the school. Mostly because getting there involved a lot of stairs.

Yeah, this pool was a lot easier to get to.

Featuring hiking, mountain biking, wilderness hikes, disc golf, trail running, geocaching, orienteering, wagon rides, bouldering, bird walks and archery!

While Worf could not work on his battle skills at Kellerman's he found the geocaching to be an excellent activity and was a decent way to work on his recon skills.

Or at least that was his excuse to do the activity.

Aravis had never once been an archer. The only lady archer she even knew, in fact, was Queen Susan, and that was mostly from the stories Lucy had told her.

Nevertheless, she was out attempting to shoot arrows at the target, and yes, growing increasingly frustrated with every skewed, failed attempt.

White Water Rafting

For the more adventurous among the visitors, a rafting trip on the New River Gorge National River might be an idea.

Oh, there was no way Hannibal wasn't going to go on the rafting trip. Yeah, yeah, he knew he'd have to learn how to be safe when all he really wanted to see was someone going flying out of the raft and into the water.

Such a saint, this one. And if it was him flying into the water, all the better. It'd make for a great story.

Cascade Falls

This trip takes you off the resort grounds and into the nearby Jefferson National Falls, where the trail leads up to the beautiful Cascade Falls.

Another day of taking it easy, Layla was enjoying the hiking trails of the park and would occasionally snap a picture or two as she hiked along.
