Kellerman's Resort, Tuesday Morning and Afternoon, October 13th

The weather at Kellerman's continued to be favourable, as the autumn sun shone down on the fields and streams of the area. The staff of the resort were busy but happy to help, bustling through the corridors and courtyard.

The boards outside were advertising a white water rafting trip today, for anyone willing to go out and risk the rapids; for the less adventurous, a trip to see the Cascade Falls might just do the trick.

"Planetarily," Ender said, glancing at him. "I think I got a good measure of the answer to how many rancors are there on Dathomir."

"Sometimes they study abroad," Ben said, "and go to other systems. So you could be asking how many lightyears between the different species of rancors."

He shot Ben a look. "How many species, if you're going to wheedle like that?"

"The rancors on Dathomir are considered to be the largest and most intelligent," Ben recited, "but they are also found on Ottethan, Corulag, Felucia, Lehon, and Carida before Carida was blown up."

"Imports?" Ender asked, and without missing a beat, added, "Don't take that as an excuse to get more pedantic."

"Imports," Ben confirmed. "Rancors haven't yet figured out how to fit helmets on so they can fly X-Wings, so they rely on others to transport them."
