Aboard the Pacific Princess, Tuesday, February 24, 1978
Tuesday, February 24th, 2015 12:15 pmWhile the ship wasn't making port today (that was tomorrow!), they'd moved close enough for some pretty spectular photographs of the Mexican coastline. Dolphins swam with the ship for a half hour around lunchtime, and while "karaoke" wasn't a word most members of the crew were familiar with, "piano singalong" certainly was. It was happening on the Riviera Deck if you knew the greatest hits of the '30s, '40s and '50s.
Where was Bucky Barnes when you needed him?
The sun was shining, it was hot enough to swim and sunbathe, and there was a macrame class out by the aft pool deck. Or you can go shopping, head to the beauty parlor (if you're brave...) or find another book to read while waiting for your loooooove connection to arrive.
