While the ship wasn't making port today (that was tomorrow!), they'd moved close enough for some pretty spectular photographs of the Mexican coastline. Dolphins swam with the ship for a half hour around lunchtime, and while "karaoke" wasn't a word most members of the crew were familiar with, "piano singalong" certainly was. It was happening on the Riviera Deck if you knew the greatest hits of the '30s, '40s and '50s.

Where was Bucky Barnes when you needed him?

The sun was shining, it was hot enough to swim and sunbathe, and there was a macrame class out by the aft pool deck. Or you can go shopping, head to the beauty parlor (if you're brave...) or find another book to read while waiting for your loooooove connection to arrive.

Another evening on a Pacific Princess cruise, another theme! And tonight, it's Future Night! Well, the future as envisioned by people in 1978.

Jetpacks.

So. Many. Jetpacks.

Also, so much silver. And white. And needlessly rounded shapes. But mostly the white and the silver and the jetpacks. Man, they're gonna be disappointed in the future.

Pacific Princess, Wednesday Morning/Afternoon

For those of you not sleeping off hangovers due to last night's jaunt into the fictional future, it was a beautiful morning just off the Mexican coast. And about mid-morning, the ship would be pulling in to dock in Puerta Vallarta. If you do decide to head off onto dry land, just be sure to make it back before the ship leaves at 6pm sharp! And for those of you who don't feel like venturing too far, there's still plenty to do on the ship itself.
