Fandom's intrepid field trippers having been collected from the zoo and fed, it was time to head onward to the next leg of their day trip: A stop at the Maryland Science Center. Not only is this place educational, it's made to be fun, and as hands-on as possible! The Science Center boasts a wide variety of attractions, including dinosaur exhibits, lessons about the human body and about outer space, various IMAX showings, and a planetarium!

It was a bright and beautiful morning as the school buses pulled up in front of the Maryland Zoo. The rhinos were grazing, the cheetahs were lounging in the shade, and the otters were greeting the day by making a playful romp to the water. Fandomites were handed a map of the zoo each, and were given their passes to the morning penguin-feeding program, and then they were sent along on their merry way.

Under the presumption that they understood that the animals here were for looking at, rather than for taunting or hunting, of course. You could never be too certain with the residents of Fandom Island.
