Sunday, December 10th, 2006 09:00 pmthreeweapons.livejournal.comThe day was dark and dreary because of course the day of her Ordeal, Alanna couldn't get a sunny day. Alanna waited for everyone in the same hall where they had arrived the day before. Jon, Gary, and Raoul stood with her.
“Morning everyone.” The girl was pale and was rocking back and forth on her feet. The grin on her face was more along the lines of desperate. “Hope everyone got sleep and stuff last night and got to explore the castle some. I’ve convinced Jon, Gary, and Raoul to ride with us to the city today. If you know how to ride? Awesome. If you don’t, we made arrangments. I have to be back before sunset, you guys are free to stay as long as you want so long as you have a way back. And keep an eye on your wallets, please.”
“And I’m Jonny in the city.” Prince Jonathan added.
“We don’t feel like getting into a fight today, so try not to mention that we’re nobles. Just wealthy merchants.” Gary had to add his two cents as well.
"What they all said." Alanna said and led the group to the stables.

Tortall, Friday December 15th. Afternoon and on
Sunday, December 10th, 2006 08:57 pmthreeweapons.livejournal.comAs the students step through the portal, they find themselves in a large, stone hall. A set of staircases leads to the left and the right. Servants and attendants are milling around, ready to escort the guests to their rooms or any part of the castle they wish. A few men in their forties are standing around as well. One of them, a tall, thin man with dull brown hair that fell into his muddy brown eyes looked over the students and seemed to be satisfied with what he saw.
"Welcome to Tortall. Page's Richard and Edward are here to help you with anything you might need, especially about where anything in the castle is. I know Squire Alan has arranged a trip for you into town tomorrow and there is a ... dinner on Sunday, but otherwise? Your time is your own. Feel free to explore or otherwise entertain yourselves. The stables have been instructed to provide you with horses if you so choose."
