The kitchen was fully stocked with breakfast items. Oatmeal, bacon, sausages, eggs, tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, potatoes, plus the makings for pancakes or waffles, if someone was so inclined. For the less alive crowd, there were also bags of orangutan and pig's blood in the refrigerator. Probably best not to ask how those got there so quickly.

Dawn was contemplating the ingredients and wondering if she wanted to attempt to make some scones.

[ooc: Last Scotland post! NFB and open to everyone here. No OCD. Departure portal will be handwaved, unless people want a post to say goodbyes.]

Saturday was hazy and humid and warm, but still better than Virginia.

[ooc: Please await crazynuts OCD. OCD is up and not nuts because Firefox is being tempermental! Have fun!]

"Okay, guys," Dawn said, standing in front of the gate to an old cemetary and clutching a stake. "Her" sword was in a sheath over her shoulder, "normally I'd say not to split up, but most of you know how this goes and everyone fights differently, so I'm not going to interfere, except to say that you should probably stay with at least one other person. But there's been a lot of vampire activity in this place lately, and the girls are really enjoying the idea of a night of not having to be here."

"Um, it's kind of foggy, so watch out for the headstones and fresh graves. Tripping is bad."

Dawn fidgeted. "Um, go have fun?"

[ooc: Go to town! Feel free to mod vampires, and I will try to ping in if you don't want to mod.]

At the other side of the portal post to be linked tomorrow, everyone would find themselves standing on top of Cut for pretty picture ) a large cliff with a castle behind them. Even with the clouds and light rain, it was still an inspiring sight.

"Whoa." Dawn couldn't help but stare at the gorgeousness. "Somebody sold their soul for real estate, and I'm not sure that I blame them." She glanced around at her friends and grinned. "I think that's where we're going, but maybe there's a greeting party or something? We get a bit distracted sometimes."

[ooc: Posted early for slow play and time zones. Massive OCD on the way is up! Feel free to add OCD threads in the proper place if I forgot something. Vampire hunting will go in a different post and will be posted tomorrow (or late tonight, maybe), so we don't break browsers. I am turning off comments, but am available on AIM: samilod, or there's always the AIM chat: Scotland, if we need it.

Daughter of OOC: Radio people, this is NFB, obviously, since it's out of town and three years out of date. :)]
