Combined Final: Doomsday & Terrain | Monday Morning

Students from both the Doomsday and the Terrain classes had received handwavey notice to meet at the Causeway today before first period.
Their professors looked disgustingly awake and cheerful, all things considered.
Reno was going to be the one to get the ball rolling today, smiling almost pleasantly as he walked around, distributing gas masks to each and every student gathered. He didn’t much care how silly they looked. Students weren’t stepping through that portal until they had theirs firmly secured, and anyone who even so much as twitched to take theirs off once they were through were going to be intercepted before their hands could reach the straps by either one of two very, very fast teachers.
"Final day, today," he announced, tossing his own mask back and forth between his hands a few times before pulling it on, as well. "Today, my class and Ghanima’s both are gonna get to put what we learned over the summer to practical use, yo. Doomsday kids, remember what I was sayin’ about pickin’ up the pieces? That’s what we’re gonna be doin’ today, yo."
"Terrain students, it is your duty to help Reno’s students navigate where we are going. Doomsday children...try not to get my students killed." Ghanima was smiling under her mask, judging by the way her eyes crinkled up. "We’re going on a trip. We’ll be there longer than we’ll be gone here, but don’t worry. You’ll still be back in time for your next final."
