Rory walked in and stared at the Declaration of Independence for a long time, her hands respectfully held behind her back.

She wasn't thinking of trying to steal it, in case anyone was curious. She's not Veronica or Piper or Nicolas Cage, after all.

Veronica walked in to the National Archives and started casing the joint just looked around in awe.

"It's amazing to think how old and important these documents are," she said to Piper.

If asked, Nadia wouldn't be able to explain why she was so excited to go to the International Spy Museum.

Well, she would be able to, but she sure as heck wouldn't want to.

She does seem to be just a little too focused and enthusiastic about memorizing the information for her chosen "alias" before entering into the museum proper.

Nadia wandered about the main room of the Air and Space Flight museum, staring straight up the whole way. She was munching absently on some freeze dried ice cream and wondering just how, exactly, anyone came up with the idea that the contraptions hanging from the ceiling could fly.

Not that she doubted that they could, she was just impressed by the creativity of the inventors.

Elizabeth found herself walking the familiar routes of her first childhood through the gallery.

She also headed to the West Building to see the Cézanne in Provence (http://www.nga.gov/exhibitions/index.shtm#cezanne) exhibit

Rory, art dork that she is, spent an inordinate amount of time quietly walking through.

Her favorite, as it had been since she was a little girl, remained to be the cabinet galleries (http://www.nga.gov/exhibitions/install.shtm#dutch)

Nadia spent a moment just staring up at the elephant in the center of the atrium, then made a beeline for the gemstone exhibit.

The dinosaurs could wait.

She makes a b-line for the Hope Diamond.

Jaye looks up at a dinosaur and decides if one of those things starts talking to her, she's cutting herself to death with a rusty wire, that's it.

She wanders around The Butterfly Conservatory (http://www.amnh.org/exhibitions/butterflies/?src=e_ce), reading up on metamorphosis. The real thing is kind of more boring than Kafak's book.

Walter wandered through the museum, fascinated by the many displays.

Things had obviously come a long way in the past 60 years.
