Spa at the Monastery, St. John's, Newfoundland & Labrador, Wednesday Morning & Afternoon

Morning saw yet another temperature drop, though it would warm to roughly yesterday's temperatures as the day went on. Rain had left a wet sheen on the area, but it had since made way for simple clouds. If you were lucky, you might even catch sight of the sun eventually.

The hotel's facilities were still available for anyone who wanted to use them, including those staying in and avoiding the Habitat for Humanity build. Though if you were planning to get your chest waxed, we really recommend the build instead.

Kenzi was carefully, methodically, and with gloves on, destroying most of Topher's work. Especially anything connected to the tub. She was going to use that later. And he didn't ask. Also, she was not going to wake up with Bride of Frankenstein hair because something snaked over and shocked her in her sleep.

Limits! They had to be enforced!

Day two, and Peter... was still in his room. Working.

Why, no, he hadn't been out. The rest of the school could be out trying to save a few families from homelessness or something-- he was trying to keep the whole world from edging back towards all-out war.

Hey, look, a text!

Have you ever gotten your chest waxed?

It was important to know these things.

Of course not. How dumb would I have to be? Peter wrote.

There you go, Topher. Aren't you glad you asked?

"I thought you were going to help," Scully said, as she came back after lunch to get her camera to and head for the GeoCentre.

She's judging you, Peter. Judging you hard.

There were a lot of reasons why Peter would have loved to point out he was doing much more than just helping, you stupid woman.

Unfortunately, he couldn't.

"Sorry," he said, instead. "My workload's turning out to be bigger than I thought."

Ben had returned from his run before Ender got back from the gym, and since it had been cold and gross outside and the bathtub was just sitting there, waiting to be used, Ben started a fire in the fireplace, filled the tub, turned on the jets and the television, and promptly fell asleep in the water.

It had been a long few weeks, after all, even before the chest waxing.

"Who's there?" Ben murmured sleepily, not opening his eyes. "Ender?"

Synapses began firing a little slowly in his brain and he remembered where he was and what he wasn't wearing, and he turned an interesting shade of red that had nothing to do with the heat of the water.

Angelica had spent several days in the form of a microwave oven -- thank you, Fandom -- but finally changed back into herself that morning and hurriedly caught a portal to St. John's so she could join her classmates. Her first destination was her room to drop off her bag.

The microwave was going on the List Of Things Not To Tell Emma.

"Hey," Mercy said with some surprise, when she stepped out of the bathroom to find her absent roommate. "You're here. I was wondering if something had happened to you."

"I, um, got turned into a microwave oven over the weekend," Angelica said sheepishly. "I just changed back this morning."

Of course Cable would be here -- getting a massage. But only during the hours where he was sure Jan was safe with Wade, thank you.

Another early morning meant more time on the treadmill for Bruce. Sure he was going to be doing physical labor in just a couple hours. That didn't mean his training stopped. He could deal with being a little more tired later on.

If he was going to be painting, or roofing, or anything else-ing for an entire day, he was at least going to get off to a good start.

A good start being a full cooked breakfast at the restaurant while he poured over a comic. Multitasking, he could do it. Not that neatly, but he could do it.

Since it was wet, but the world didn't seem to be actively soaking her through, Kate took her jog outside and onto the streets around the hotel.

Compared to her run around Fandom it was limited, but she spent a little 'cool off' time outside in the grounds after to make it feel a little more like she'd been outside a decent length of time, even if it was only by adding in some pacing around the gravel drive.
