Morning saw yet another temperature drop, though it would warm to roughly yesterday's temperatures as the day went on. Rain had left a wet sheen on the area, but it had since made way for simple clouds. If you were lucky, you might even catch sight of the sun eventually.

The hotel's facilities were still available for anyone who wanted to use them, including those staying in and avoiding the Habitat for Humanity build. Though if you were planning to get your chest waxed, we really recommend the build instead.

"I'm doing that," Peter promised. "And mom and dad are having the local college send a few things. The downfall of having a former college grad student for a mother."

"It's good that they care. But aren't dictating." Scully paused while picking up her purse. "I assume they're not. Or expecting you to go to medical or something like that."

"Oh, no, they just want me to have a good academic foundation," Peter bullshitted. "They're worried for my future. Parents, right?"

"Mmmmm. Parents." Scully couldn't have put a finger on what it was about Peter that had her going 'hmmm'. Maybe the parents, right? that was contradicted by his own investment in his homework. But. Her own 'normalcy' wasn't all that normal, so... "I'll be back around dinner. Enjoy your studies."
