The Crown Princess - Monday [Ship/Princess Cays, Bahamas]

Early in the morning, the cruise director came over the loudspeaker announcing the port of the day and some on-boat activities of interest. Those paying attention would learn that from 9am until 5pm, the Crown Princess would be docked in the lovely Princess Cays, Bahamas where guests were welcome to participate in glass-bottom boat, snorkeling, or beach excursions for a portion of the day. Adults were encouraged toward the Sanctuary on the Sun Deck for a more private way to relax away from the teens.

[OOC: The Princess Bridge Cam is fantastic. Cabins Post | Star Deck | Sun Deck | Promenade Deck | Cays Cruise | Snorkeling | Beach]

Since swimming and sunbathing was sooo far out of the question, it wasn't even funny, Deadpool was finding his own fun on deck.

Mainly? Hustling the elderly at shuffleboard.

Yes, in costume still. They thought it was all part of the entertainment and he got screwdrivers out of the deal. Mmm... drinking in the morning.

"Are you causing trouble?" Fraser asked from somewhere behind Deadpool.

Deadpool looked around for which octogenarian ratted him out to the fuzz. Probably Gertrude. She was a sore loser.

"I would never!"

"You act like I don't know you at all," Fraser said and snickered.

Ronon hit the track early in the day, trying to run off as much energy as he could so he'd be better at just sitting around as seemed to be the theme of this vacation.

Anakin had been out for a leisurely jog himself until he saw someone he recognized. Now he was trying to race past Ronon.

Because yes, everything had to be a competition.

Ronon picked up the pace, trying to keep Anakin at least next to him. "Hey Princess. Found anyone to throw overboard yet?"

Jonah was in the golf simulator. He didn't really care for golf, to be honest, except for the part where he got to yell at the ball, his clubs, the course, the caddy, and so on. Jonah was clearly hampered by the lack of most of these, but at least he got to yell at the simulator, which made up for a lot.

If you spent most of your life lugging around a lot of metal twice the weight of the rest of your body, you'd see the necessity for a massage, too.

After Nate had one of those-- loosened up some of the problematic muscles in his lower back-- he took a seat on a lounge chair and his mobile phone.

He spent the next hour alternating between discussing business with Irene and convincing her that yes, there was a reason why he was currently on a cruise while she was stuck in the mud in lower Croatia ("And the worst thing, if it was anyone else, Nate, I wouldn't have had to buy that excuse."). This place recalled some happy memories from Providence, that was for sure.

Linz found a nice quiet spot with a good amount of sun. She settled down with a trashy novel and some sort of energy smoothie and relaxed.

This lasted about five minutes before she got bored and started looking around for something else to do in this place.

Lounging wasn't all that hard. It was the sitting and doing nothing for long stretches of time that was going to kill Ronon. He was glad for the track.

"So now we just sit?" He verified, looming and potentially blocking Lindsay's sunshine.

"Yeah, that's the general idea," Lindsay said with a frown. "Of course I'm already bored with just the sitting part. Plus this drink isn't alcoholic."

Somewhere to stretch out without the annoying teenagers running about? Robin was in heaven.

Sure, later she might explore or something, but for right now, she stretched out in her new swimsuit (http://s5.tinypic.com/o5orie.jpg) with a drink, and just enjoyed being able to lie around.

[stupid work. SP until this evening, though I shooooooould be able to pick up pings REALLY SLOWLY.]

"Robin," Nate greeted, walking up to where she was seated. He had a mission, of a kind; improving relations with the head of security and the deputy. All in a day's work. "Enjoying yourself?"

"Oh, so very much," she sighed happily. "I love this trip already."

After a brief trip to the island to pick up something appropriate (http://www.rememberthebahamas.com/proddetail.php?prod=dolphin_fountain) for Daisy, Biff was planning to spend the rest of the afternoon paging through a magazine and cheerfully harassing the staff.

She might not have been the oldest person to ever receive a massage, but her masseuse was silently ranking her in the top five he'd ever touched. Yikes.

Yzma relaxed under his hands and contemplated revenge on her suitemate. It was good to have projects.

Rory didn't really want to try and do anything too strenuous.

But she was pregnant.

And there were massages.

So, yeah, this would be where she'd be the rest of the day.

Shopping? Alex was all over that, oh yes. Even if she was just browsing, for now.

K-Mart was also all over the shopping. Never mind the not having much money thing, she just had to get something to send home for Claire.

"Hey," she greeted when she flipped through a display and came face to face with someone she recognized from school.

Her brothers might hurt her -- or in Justin's case, whine, if she didn't bring something back for them. Hence the shopping.

"Hey," Alex replied, with a small smile. "Enjoying the trip so far?" So far so good for her.
