The Crown Princess - Monday [Ship/Princess Cays, Bahamas]

Early in the morning, the cruise director came over the loudspeaker announcing the port of the day and some on-boat activities of interest. Those paying attention would learn that from 9am until 5pm, the Crown Princess would be docked in the lovely Princess Cays, Bahamas where guests were welcome to participate in glass-bottom boat, snorkeling, or beach excursions for a portion of the day. Adults were encouraged toward the Sanctuary on the Sun Deck for a more private way to relax away from the teens.

[OOC: The Princess Bridge Cam is fantastic. Cabins Post | Star Deck | Sun Deck | Promenade Deck | Cays Cruise | Snorkeling | Beach]

"I don't drink." The liar. "So, you'll have to make due with orange juice."

"Of course!" Wade waved for the nice waiters to bring drinks. And both totally virgin. Really. Ignore the winking.

Fraser rolled his eyes and said, "How do you win this game?"

"You run out of disc dealies," Wade replied patiently. "And then you owe the winner extra drinks."

"You're not lying about the rules, are you?"

It was Wade. And Wade liked drinks.

He so, so did.

"Of course not! I would never lie to you about something important."

Fraser fixed him with a look. A long one.

"I think I should step aside in case lighting strikes."

"You're just afraid I'll beat you," Wade insisted. And may have taken a step to the side in case the lighting did happen.

"I am not," he said and went to find a stick...thing. Whatever it was called. "I don't fear friendly competition."

Wade was going with stick. It was a good name for the... stick.

"Then stop being a wuss and drink your orange juice too."

Fraser reached for the orange juice, glared at Wade and downed it in several long swallows.

Probably a mistake.

He coughed and said, "God, did you lie about what's in that?"

"Maybe you got mine on accident?" Wade suggested, offering the other drink. "You should have this one then. I'm sure it's fine."

"Or it could also be oddly made," Fraser replied.

"Which is why we need another to make it up to you," Wade said, so very seriously.

"I don't trust you." Well, at least not with alcohol.

Wade was wounded by that. Truly. "You can always order it yourself!"

"Should I take my shot first?" Fraser wondered. "All I've done is pick a stick and drink."

Which was how Deadpool played this game. Like softball, really.

"Fine, fine. Actually play if you must."

[identity profile] just-add-starch.livejournal.com 2009-02-23 10:27 pm (UTC)(link)
"Thank you." Fraser still had no idea how to play this weird game so he picked up the stick and...shuffled the puck thing down the board to the end. "Exhilarating."

[identity profile] mouthy-merc.livejournal.com 2009-02-23 10:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Which was really about it in the way of playing. "Which is why we drink until the pucks look like something fun."

[identity profile] just-add-starch.livejournal.com 2009-02-23 10:41 pm (UTC)(link)
"Then, you drink now," he said. "I already had one."

Wade just gave him a look. "You're on vacation. C'mooon. Lighten up a bit."

"So are you!" Fraser pointed out.

"...And drinking. So... get on that, Benton. We need drunken Canadians to offend the delicate sensibilities of the American tourists."

"You're a Canadian," he said. "You get intoxicated and I will follow your lead."
