The Crown Princess - Monday [Ship/Princess Cays, Bahamas]

Early in the morning, the cruise director came over the loudspeaker announcing the port of the day and some on-boat activities of interest. Those paying attention would learn that from 9am until 5pm, the Crown Princess would be docked in the lovely Princess Cays, Bahamas where guests were welcome to participate in glass-bottom boat, snorkeling, or beach excursions for a portion of the day. Adults were encouraged toward the Sanctuary on the Sun Deck for a more private way to relax away from the teens.

And since hey, this was another person standing right there, K-Mart had to ask: "Think anything in here would make a good 'thank you for sending me to Fandom' gift for my guardian?"

"There could be," Alex nodded, taking a moment to look around. "What does your guardian like?" She decided clothing wouldn't work. "Maybe a piece of jewelery?" They did have some nice things and they weren't terribly expensive either.

You just needed to know where to look.

"I think she'd like jewelery," K-Mart decided. "She doesn't really have a lot, and most of what she had got traded for food or flat-out lost."

Plus Claire had had to go on the run kind of suddenly, hadn't really had time to grab much of anything.

"Then that settles it," Alex smiled. "You have to trade a lot of things, where you're from?" She couldn't even begin to imagine what that was like.
