Steve, in full Captain America uniform, fell down in a rain of rickshaws, park benches, trash cans and cobblestones.

He managed to curl himself in a ball and used the shield to protect himself as he landed, then stood up with a little groan as he knuckled his back.

"Everyone okay down here?" he asked.

Were the trash cans empty? Those could come in handy.

"Captain!" Oh, look, someone Annie looked up to, in uniform and everything. It was oddly comforting.

"I mean, Steve," she corrected, running over to examine the detritus he'd brought down with him. "We're all fine -- how are things up there?"

"As always, you sure know how to make an entrance," Clint said, clapping with a smirk as he got up. "I'd say it's good to see you but that seems mean under the circumstances. Are you all right?"

Sakaki knew that it had been getting dangerous out there due to all the holes, sure, but all that danger meant that the animals at the shelter would need her even more than ever, should anything happen! She was quick, though, and athletic, and she was fairly sure she could use her natural strengths to her advantage...

...that kind of hubris was exactly why she didn't last long at all on her way to the shelter, getting only as far as the park when one of the holes managed to sneak up on her.

She managed to get enough of a sprint going that her proximity to the pond helped it so not much else got sucked in, but she was definitely caught, and falling and the only thing she could think of was those poor animals at the shelter and she hoped they would be okay!

And then there she was. In a hole. And there was everything that had been going missing these past few weeks, too.

Huh.

Late in the afternoon, and not nearly for the first time in his life, Bucky fell. But at least he stuck the superhero landing, this time, using his left arm - concealed underneath an unseasonable long sleeve and glove - to take some of the impact.

The first thing he did as soon as he was upright again was check his backpack was still with him. (It was.) The second thing was to look around at where he'd ended up.

... Yeah, he really didn't know where he was, now.

But he wasn't dead. Probably counted for something.

It was a busy day in the hole!

But they'd been down here a while and someone (it was Annie) had started making mimosas, so now you got greeted by a not-quite-day-drunk but close enough Danny. "Welcome to the hole. Mazel tov," he said dryly.

Travis was a little disappointed the bar didn't seem to have darts. But he could roll with axes.

Annie, who had indeed slept in a booth in the lounge for a very, very long time once she'd crashed yesterday, eventually wandered out.

She ducked behind the bar to snag some orange juice and champagne (neither was chilled, but it'd do) before following the sound to the axe range.

"Ever done this before?" she greeted Travis, saluting with her mimosa. "Throwing axes, I mean."

Look, might as well make the best of this, right? She was already stuck in tulle and a cape and sleeping in a bar booth; mimosas upon waking up seemed okay.

Don't mind Amaya. She was just popping into the Devil's Nest real quick to check on those axes and how they might have handled the fall and if she should be poking at Eric again about new ones once this was all figured out...

...well, maybe a drink, too, while she was here, but it was mostly just an ace inspection.

And, unfortunately, they all looked mostly fine. One of the drawbacks, she supposed, of providing such quality work!

Still, though...

Danny had followed Annie's whole vibe in getting himself a mimosa to go with the bowling alley nachos as he watched the whole axe thing.

The number of salads he was gonna need to eat after all this...

Well, now that Edward had Beaker-proofed the cannon like a sane person huge hater of fun, Beaker needed to find some other way to entertain himself.

He'd taken Amaya's class a bunch of times! He'd be fine with axes! Probably!

Rey actually had zero boredom. She was more trying to balance out doing little organizational things to make sure they'd have enough food and water to last them and chipping a what at the ceiling- which was coming along nicely!- with taking actual downtime.

And since she'd spotted the bowling lanes last night she decided she wanted to try it. So, noting to others that she'd be here if they wanted to join in, she went to a lane, and attempted to throw a bowling ball down towards the pins.

It would have been better if she had been wearing the right shoes. Wanna see a Jedi nearly wipe out?

Faye was once more by her own ship, but she was a bit more...well, sneaky was a harsh word, but she was certainly keeping to herself a bit today.

It definitely had nothing to do with the growing collection of items she was stashing in her ship -- including bottles of booze from the bar, bowling pins, containers of sprinkles from Chilly Boulder, quite a lot of couture gowns that she was fairly sure would need to be taken out but would look great on her someday....

She was considering how stealthily she could make off with a cannonball, too. Seemed like it probably wasn't worth the risk.

Stark had done a lap (or three, moving was easier than staying still) around the occupied area of the cavern before ending up by the ships.

Well, stalking the premises for two days using his senses hadn't found Edward anything bar a few shiny rocks. So back to drinking at the campfire it was.

By the looks of it, they had a few more days' worth of rum left. Ed didn't want to think about the mindset of his crew once they ran out. But for now, the lads were still singing shanties - though Ed really wished they weren't singing the one about him so loudly while he'd gotten them stuck in a hole - and all of the cannons had gotten little Beaker-shields in front of their openings, just to be sure.

Though the urge to be a little fatalist and frustrated over the failed attempts to get out of here and the creeping existentialism that came with being completely and utterly useless for the first time in his entire life.

So he was doing all he could think of doing, and that was training. Again. Some more. In some quiet corner of their hole, trying to figure out precisely how long it would take to adjust slowly claw his way through the rock after all, because it wasn't as if he had anything else productive to do...
