Guess what, y'all! There's a bar here now! Why, the hole was practically swimming in ~~coping mechanisms~~ things to do!

. . . Was it still day drinking if there was no external marker of time passing other than people and things falling through the ceiling?

"Ooh, are we bowling?" Steve asked excitedly.

Don't ask the guy who threw a shield with deadly accuracy to join you. He's a killer bowler.

"We're bowling," Rey confirmed. "Want to play?"

Oh no.

"Please!" Steve said, beaming. "I love bowling!"

And he was so earnest about it, Rey!

"Good! This is my first time," Rey said.

She was fine. Though she'd made up her own rules.

"Well, you have the shoes so you're 80 percent there," Steve said. "Throw the ball at the pins, when they fall down, you get points. You get two tries at them each time, and you play for ten frames."

"Wait. You only get two tries?"

She didn't like those rules.

"And then the pins stand back up and you can start again," Steve said, nodding.

"Oh, we have to set them back up ourselves," Rey said, so see, her way was better.

"Oh, that's a little annoying," Steve said. "Normally you can see the guy in the back who has to put them all back."

That was how it had worked in the 1930's, at least.

"There's a person back there?"

This was a concern as they had not seen or fed him if so!

"Maybe they weren't on shift yet when the bowling alley came down?" Steve said.

Or it was run by machines because it was the 21st Century. One of those!
