Guess what, y'all! There's a bar here now! Why, the hole was practically swimming in ~~coping mechanisms~~ things to do!

. . . Was it still day drinking if there was no external marker of time passing other than people and things falling through the ceiling?

Faye glanced over to the pile of clothes she'd visiting earlier, sureptitiously looking around for witnesses before plucking up a black, beaded dress from within the Red Tail and holding it up against herself.

"What do you think?" she asked, posing a little as she stretched the fabric a bit to help. "It'll need to be taken out, but I can get that done when we're out of here."

Something to look forward to!

Stark tilted his head a bit, considering the dress, then nodded.

"I like it," he said after a moment. "Where will you wear it when we get out?"

Was he going to need to dress up? He had his jacket from New Years and that was about it. Assuming his belongings were even still in his apartment. Who knew, at this point?

Let's be real: Faye would love that jacket.

"You'll have to take me somewhere nice, I guess," Faye replied playfully, selecting another dress, this time in a light cream color. "Couple somewhere nices, by the looks of it."

Stark would be happy to wear it again. He might even be persuaded to procure another, or at least a new shirt to go with it.

"Where would you like to go?" 'What will we do when we're no longer trapped underground' was a good game to pass the time with. There were restaurants he'd never actually visited in person on the island, and there was the mainland though he liked that idea somewhat less. "You can decide. Wherever you like. I'd just like to go somewhere that isn't down here."

But if they waited long enough maybe everywhere would be down here.

"Anywhere." Including space, where he wouldn't stick out at all. "I like dressing up, though." Which was why she'd stolen the dresses in the first place. "Do you like dancing?"

Important question, Stark, because Faye loved dancing.

And talking about dancing was involved not thinking about being stuck down here.

"You can dress up whenever you like. I haven't danced much. Not many opportunities. I could try?"

He would probably end up looking ridiculous but it might pay off.

"Or you can dance." And he could stand awkwardly in a corner?

"Oh, no, I'd need a partner," Faye assured him, which was more about her wanting to make Stark do something fun with her than about ruling out solo dancing. (She was open to that, too.) "It's all right, I can show you. I'm very good at it. We could go dancing."

A very brief pause as Faye sifted through the clothes and produced a couple of bottles, which she set aside, out of the hatch. "Once we're out of here, anyway."

Because they would be. Soon! Because Faye was starting to run out of important things, like cigarettes.

"I can try," Stark said. He might need a lot of instruction. "If you like. We'll dance somewhere. After we aren't in here."

Whenever that might be. "Somewhere with windows, maybe."

He was really missing being able to see things that weren't cave walls.

"Maybe somewhere outside." Faye hadn't even been here that long, and she was starting to miss the sky. Not Fandom or the surface, necessarily. But -- openness. "Maybe even somewhere in space."

Faye's ship was basically one big window, anyway.

"I'd like outside. I miss the sky. Any sky. Or somewhere in space." An endless expanse of stars was far preferable to an endless view of these same walls.

"Aside from borrowing Anakin's ship I haven't flown in a long time. I wouldn't mind seeing stars." Or clouds. Anything, really.

"Well, we're taking her up when we're out of here," Faye assured him, patting the Red Tail and fishing out her cigarettes. What was rationing? Not a thing Faye believed in, that's what it was. "As long as you don't mind it being a snug fit."

They could take Din's much roomier ship, if he'd rather!

Faye was going to be so grouchy when those cigarettes ran out.

"It does look...cozy?" Stark said, eyeing the ship. "We could manage. I think. If it weren't a very long trip?" Or maybe even if it were. Because at least they'd be somewhere else!

He didn't know Din well enough to want to ~~steal~~ borrow his ship for a space jaunt. Yet.
