Nine Hundred Ninety-Nine Feet Below Fandom, Monday
Guess what, y'all! There's a bar here now! Why, the hole was practically swimming in coping mechanisms things to do!
. . . Was it still day drinking if there was no external marker of time passing other than people and things falling through the ceiling?

Re: New arrivals
But they'd been down here a while and someone (it was Annie) had started making mimosas, so now you got greeted by a not-quite-day-drunk but close enough Danny. "Welcome to the hole. Mazel tov," he said dryly.
Re: New arrivals
Bucky looked up towards where he'd come from, rubbing at the middle of his chest, then looked at Danny again.
"How long's this been going on?"
He hadn't exactly had time to get the full report from Jesse.
Re: New arrivals
"Couple weeks," Danny said with a deep sigh, looking up as well and making a face. He hated being closed in like this. Hated it. "They're trying to find whatever the hell is behind all this."
Go-Pros on squirrels was sounding like a good idea even to him at this point.
Re: New arrivals
Bucky really should have checked radio before coming back, huh? Goddammit.
"Well," he said, with another glance at the ceiling. "Mayor's still up there."
Re: New arrivals
Danny glanced around at the collection of buildings and space ships. "Yeah," he replied. "Here's hoping they catch a break up there."
