There was a slight chance of thunderstorms tonight, but when it was still practically 80 outside in February, was a little rain really going to ruin it?

It might even wash some of the glitter away. Well, probably not. No power on Earth was strong enough to wash glitter away. More than half of spring break was over, Fandom. Get out there and make some memories! Or drink-fueled regrets. Rio could accomodate either.

The deluxe beach view rooms (http://www.copacabanapalace.com/web/orio/deluxe_beach_view_rooms.jsp) have stunning views of the world-famous Copacabana Beach and some feature Juliet-style balconies. All have king or twin beds, en-suite bathrooms which feature a bath with shower, air conditioning and high-speed internet for those students who would get twitchy without it. Peter.

Everyone from Bruce Wayne to Tony Stark* has been seen soaking up the sun around the Copacabana pool, which is open 24 hours a day.

Bruce had heard word that he'd been spotted at the pool today. Since he didn't really want people to wonder where he'd been all day while he was punching monkeys, he decided to confirm the rumors by showing up and lounging around.

It was part of why he was creating a playboy image, after all. It was the perfect cover for beating up thieves. Even when you didn't plan for it to be so.

Cara had been avoiding the pool, since it smelt funny and there was a perfectly good ocean nearby, but you know, rumours, had to be checked out. "Have you been here all day?"

Asked miss monopolised the punching bag for two days straight.

Anakin had discovered that if he brought his datapad out to the pool, he could sit in a lounge chair and work without getting looked at too strangely for it.

Thus far his adventures in the city had been . . . much less eventful than he was used to, so working on some programming promised to be a much more satisfying pursuit than any of his other options. (The clubbing had been a disaster.)

He had a drink -- something nonalcoholic but tropical -- and his shoes beside the lounge chair as he sat, bent over the datapad and frowning with his hair falling into his eyes.

Ben had found a spot near the pool away from the club, though the bass beats still thrummed through his head, watched the water and let his mind drift.

When you were as redheaded and pale as Ben was, a pool at night was definitely the better option.

After a long day if sightseeing around the city, as well as a helicopter tour, Hanna opted to relax by the pool this evening. The bar would still be there tomorrow.

Dorothy had enjoyed her late night swim the other day quite a bit, so when she decided to enjoy that quiet serenity again, she was quite surprised to see so many fellow students gathered: warriors and jedi and wolves. "Oh my," Dorothy said in surprise, standing there in her vintage blue gingham swimsuit. "I guess everyone's found out about how nice the pool is at this time."

She smiled, though, because it was company!

For someone who didn't drink, Stacey thought she'd probably seen more of a bar on this trip than she would in her whole lifetime.

Stacey was not thinking ahead to college, diabetes or no.

But she liked the place and the ambiance and Miguel had said he might be here tonight, so she was more than happy to stalk her new boy.

That game with the spotted ball was so another thing Annie had to check off her list. Come on, it was Brazil! She only wished she had a team to root for so she could dress more appropriately in their gear, but it would not stop her from having fun.

Summer wasn't about to pass up an opportunity to catch a football match. She was a fan of soccer -- she watched the World Cup every year -- so, she was thrilled to be there.

Plus, she wasn't about to miss out on a tour of the stadium. Her brother was going to be so jealous.

The nice thing about the injury? It was easy to convince Miley to come with Dave to things like the soccer game.

Apparently he just had to make sure she didn't injure anyone in a soccer riot.... No, he wouldn't stop making jokes about that in his head either.

Apparently neither of these teams were the right team, but Petra wasn't sure which one she was supposed to hate more. She kept texting questions to Ricky and Sinjin both (look, a girl has options) during the game, such as, Wait how does offsides work again? and WTF why does the ref do something different for every handball??

She looked up from her phone just in time to see-- "OH THAT WAS A BLATANT DIVE!"

It seemed Petra was going native.

She was also wondering when the shirts would come off. She could swear someone had told her that was part of the soccer experience.

Rain or not, there was only so long that Dany would go without taking her dragons outside. So under the dark of night, she hurried out to the beach with a blanket, an umbrella and all three tucked against her.

Within almost no time, she was watching the three little dragons play in the water and the sand, keeping an eye out for passers-by and praying that any sparks seen might simply be blamed on fireflies.
