Kohala Coast, Hawaii | Evening | Sunday | February 20

As the sun gave way to the moon, the lights around the Big Island started coming on, brightening up the dark sky. Night falling just meant several new ways for the guests to enjoy themselves! A slight wind ruffled the palm trees but the temperature remained warm, making it comfortable enough to take long walks on the beach or just enjoy gazing up at the clear night sky.

There was still plenty to do, though! Nighttime activities were starting to swing into motion, music was wafting along the breeze, drawing people towards it's rhythmic sounds, and the smells of Hawaiian dishes were prevalent.

It was nighttime in Hawaii and the vacation had just begun!

"I didn't step on any when I was in it, earlier," Kate replied with a slight little glass raise of her own, looking out towards the water. "They're sufficiently hidden. Properly paradise-like."

"I'm not surprised that you've already flaunted yourself along the oceanfront," Nathan said, smirking. "Get any bites from things that aren't fish what with the bait thrown and all?"

"No, I remain bitefree," Kate said with an exaggerated sigh, and a brief little pout thrown his way, even though she really wasn't bothered at all. "Obviously people are being stupid."

"Aww, did you want me to throw a bite your way?" Nathan asked and even snapped his teeth for effect. "I am always willing to do a good deed that benefits a friend."

"I'm sure you are," Kate drawled, though it was a little lighter and maybe a tad more subdued than usual. She took a sip of her drink before continuing. "I think that would depend on where you'd bite me."

"Mmm." He looked over at her, pretending to contemplate various places to bite her. "Do you have a preference on places to take a nip? Arm? Fingers? Calves? Really, name me a spot and I shall see what I can do."

"I don't let anyone bite my neck anymore," she said with a brief playful, thoughtful pout, "but that's about the preference level I have. I do already have a bite scar on my arm, though."

Thankfully faded into her pale skin, but still visible if you knew where to look.

"Give me your hand, I'll bite your fingers," Nathan said and held out his hand just to see if she'd do it. "We'll have a little nibble as an appetizers and then go for something a little more filling later on, yeah?"

Kate let a quiet chuckle slip out, then put her slim-fingered hand in his. She'd done worse things, which was pretty shit as far as excuses went but she didn't care.

"Yeah, something like that."

Nathan hadn't actually been sure if she'd take the challenge or not so he was pleasantly surprised that she did. With a smirk, he took her hand and made to lightly bite the middle finger.

Hey, if she was gonna rise to the challenge, he was gonna follow the fuck through. He had no shame. See, this even helped to shut him up for a minute considering he had her finger in his mouth.

Tsk, such little faith in Kate's inability to keep from taking challenges and dares up, especially ones that involved touching in any way.

She watched him and her hand over the rim of her glass, still raised close to her lips. "Well," she said. "This is a little weird."

But notice how she didn't pull her hand away.

"I've seen you naked," Nathan reminded her, smiling adorably, before reaching to bite another finger. "Why is this weird?"

"Because we're in a bar in Hawaii and you're biting my fingers," Kate said, as if that explained something. Even she didn't think it did, so she laughed, and wiggled a few of the fingers not currently being bitten on. "I don't know, leave my experience weirdness alone."

"Yeah, but it's not like I'm mounting you on a table," Nathan said and bit one last finger before letting her have her hand back. "Maybe I was just licking the alcohol of your fingers because I'm a helpless booze hound."

"Oh, how chivalrous of you," Kate snorted as she drew her hand away, then examined her fingernails idly. "Although why the fuck I would have alcohol on my fingers, I do not know."

"You've never dipped your fingers in liquor and sucked it off seductively?" Nathan wondered. "I would have thought someone trained in the art of porn would have learned that little trick."

The eyeroll at that was almost automatic.

"I've done that with pudding," she replied. "I just thought you made it sound more accidental, like I'm clumsy enough to just spill booze over my hand."

"You've done porn with pudding?" Maybe he was twisting her words but picturing her doing porn with pudding was an interesting metal image.

For that, Kate was just going to reach out and try to flick him on the forehead. His own fault for drawing attention to her fingers.

"Licked pudding seductively! Not porn."

"Hey!" Nathan exclaimed though it hadn't hurt. IT was just an automatic reaction when someone tried to hit him these days. "When have you licked pudding seductively? I've yet to see this. Why have I not see this fit of pudding mastery?"

"That I do not know, Nathan," Kate replied with a little smirk. "Guess you just haven't been in the right place at the right time? Shitty luck."

"Not gonna tell me when you've licked pudding seductively?" Nathan wondered, tilting his head. "Why? Is it a super secret? Maybe I wanna know what to do to make it happen for me. If I found some pudding in the great American state of Hawaii and asked nicely, would you do it?"

"Maybe." Probably, even, but she wasn't going to go as far as to say that. She just kept smirking. "If you could perform such a miraculous deed as finding pudding."

"You don't think there's pudding on this entire island?" Nathan wondered, glancing around. "And just what is so special about pudding, Kate? Is it a fantasy or something of yours to have it lathered up and locked off of you while you write and squirm?"

"I like pudding, I don't perv over it," Kate scoffed, shaking her head. "The little cups are good for that whole seductive thing where you're putting images in the other person's head, but it seems kinda sticky and gross to be putting all over your skin. 'Sides, that's what those cans of whipped cream are for."
