Nine Hundred Ninety-Nine Feet Below Fandom, Friday
They'd handwavily gotten the ladder truck on its wheels, but even with the ladder extended, they'd only been able to confirm that the ceiling was solid.
There'd be no getting out that way.
Which meant Travis was officially out of ideas. So people were just going to have to bear with him while he treated himself to another sad lump day over in the toppled station.

New arrivals
Re: New arrivals
After a moment of silence as things settled, the first noise from it was a strange, loud meow in protest.
Re: New arrivals
"Oww, oww, oww," he groaned partly from the rough landing but also from the tiny razor-like claws that were sunk deep into his arm as a terrified kitten clung to him.
"Hannibal!" He called out as he staggered to his feet. "You ok?"
Re: New arrivals
He made his way down the slope to the front door and opened it, to get immediately assaulted by a frantic, glittery flamingo. He put up his hands and tried to stave it off, only to have it cling to his shoulders, wrap its legs and wings around his head, and sit there getting feathers on him.
Re: New arrivals
Travis came out of the sideways fire station and stared at the mansion.
"Well . . . at least it's not on fire again."
Re: New arrivals
"Of course not," he answered. "Why should the island repeat itself?" He looked around at the blackness. "Where are we?"

"Is anyone hurt?" He asked as he approached. That, at least, was something he could help with.
Re: New arrivals
He nodded to Stark. "Although if anybody is, I have a number of well-stocked first aid kits, assuming they survived the fall."
Re: New arrivals
Probably a hole had eaten the house but, look, weird things were happening and maybe there was more than one way down here! And if there was more than one way down maybe there was a way out! He didn't think so but it could happen. Maybe.

Dwight staggered out of the overturned house, looking around at the surroundings. The tiny kitten still clinging to him meowed in disapproval, and he had to agree... this did not look good at all.

Re: New arrivals
"Alive, bit bruised. and slightly skewered" he said finally getting Joni to retract the claws as she hid against his chest.
"Where the heck are we anyways?" he asked staring up at the dark emptiness above them, suddenly feeling like he was back in Haven dealing with some weird sentient hole Trouble.

She had makeup in her purse here. She did not have dry shampoo.
Re: Hanging in the hole
Yes, he'd be sitting over here thinking this would be over by Monday. It was always over by Monday.
Re: Hanging in the hole
Therefore she was hanging out with him because she was bored.

The disappointment was mostly overwhelmed by increasing anxiety now that he'd spent 2 nights down here. He was trying to be quiet about it, though. He was just pacing, and occasionally muttering to himself.
