They'd handwavily gotten the ladder truck on its wheels, but even with the ladder extended, they'd only been able to confirm that the ceiling was solid.

There'd be no getting out that way.

Which meant Travis was officially out of ideas. So people were just going to have to bear with him while he treated himself to another sad lump day over in the toppled station.

Hannibal sighed. He looked around. "I'm not sure if I need coffee or a drink to handle this. Perhaps I should check on my carafe and liquor cabinet. There's no way out, I take it?"

"Why does everyone ask that?" Travis asked the ceiling. "No. Near as we can tell, there's no way out. And yes, we have tried."

"It could be there is something preventing you from looking," Hannibal pointed out. "Or that you know of a way that would work, but you don't have the equipment for it. There could be other answers so insane that they would only make sense here."

Travis hooked his thumb at the fire ladder still extended towards the ceiling.

"Equipment is not the problem." He shook his head, the sad-lump feeling coming back in spades. "Anyway. Welcome. We're getting kind of crowd going."

"Who's here so far?" Hannibal asked. "And is there any clue to how long this will last, or shall we assume one week?"

“Well, if it’s a week it’s almost over at least,” Travis said. “And we’ve got me, Probie, Miss Teen USA, that weirdly cylindrical meep guy, the pirate, and Stark. And — now you guys. At least we won’t all have to live off the food in the station anymore.”

Travis had put out a fire at Hannibal’s place. He’d seen that kitchen.

“Oh, hey, tell me you have alcohol. The drinkable kind. Got plenty of isopropyl.”

"Stark and Beaker I know; I'm not certain who those others are."

He smirked a little. "I have plenty of both sorts. And food, yes. Possibly electricity if my generator came down with the rest. But my stove and oven are gas." It was great when the power went out; not so good for being pulled into gigantic holes. He'd have to fix that somehow.

"I should probably assess what I do have and what's been damaged." He made an unhappy moue. "I shudder to think what condition my harpsichord is in."

“Of course you have a harpsichord,” Travis muttered. “We’ve got a couple generators at the station, and a backup water pump. But with limited potable water and fuel, I’ve been trying not to use to much of either.”

Travis got a look for the crack about the harpsichord, but Hannibal let it go for now.

"I have several gallons of drinking water, a few bottles of sparkling water, and enough fuel for one generator for several days. Again, assuming none of it has broken open."

“Might not be. Weirdly pretty much everything in the station came through in one piece, just all jumbled up and sometimes on its side. Should’ve seen us tipping the ladder truck upright. The kid wouldn’t help because she didn’t want ‘helmet hair’.”

Travis had run out of patience for his fellow hole-ees idiosyncrasies quick.

"I'll hope for the same for my house, then," Hannibal said. "And helmet hair is why brushes and combs exist. Are there things we're short on here? Food I have, and alcohol. First aid, although I imagine you're decently set for that. Do you have an oven, or will we have to hope we can work the grill out from under the house?" It was on the patio.

“Stove and oven are electric, so they run fine on the generator. Though, again, if we can’t find a source of fresh water in here, we probably don’t want to dirty too many dishes.”

"We'll manage," Hannibal said firmly. He threw dinner parties for dozens; he wasn't short on dishes. "Why don't we see if we're up to three generators now?" He started heading toward the house; the generator would be on the far side if it was there.
