...has done their best to prepare a Canadian-style Thanksgiving dinner with Italian twists.

Well, Anakin wasn't Canadian but his PB was, and so he wasn't really an expert on what had been done correctly or not, but there was wine and good food and he was easily made content.

Riley wasn't Canadian but he couldn't resist the allure of a good meal. He took a seat at one of the tables and helped himself.

"I have seen a lot of paintings," Riley told her, looking up. "And eaten a lot of food. I'm not sure if I'm doing vacation right."

"It's going great," Kitty said. "I'm trying to get out and be an annoying tourist every chance I get, and now I know how to cook some things. I've been lax in the wine department, though."

George had been kind of scarce the first couple of days of this trip. Far too much to see and do to spend any time relaxing on the estate -- or being around at all, really. Traveling in what was essentially The Broken was full of so much new.

Tonight though, since he'd also never actually been to a Canadian Thanksgiving, he decided to stay a little closer to home, and load up a plate with a little bit of everything so he could be sure to know he hadn't missed anything.

Kitty wasn't Canadian, but she knew people who were! That totally worked, right?

Whatever, she was here for the food and was attempting to try a tiny bit of everything. Which was all amazing, and it was really unfair, she decided.

"So, what's with all the food?" Clint asked, with his plate piled high. He didn't usually question delicious food but this was also kind of unexpected fare.

Isaac wasn't going to pass up on Thanksgiving food. Even if it was fake Thanksgiving. Who knows if he'd get to do this when November came along so he was going to take full advantage now. He was pretty much stuffing food in his face.

Alex had never really celebrated Thanksgiving of any kind before, so she made sure to be around for it tonight. She was kind of in the mood to be social, anyway. Plus, the food was good.

If you were outside at the bar to enjoy the sunset, it's only fair to say "eh, screw it" and just stay for dinner, right? Right. Of course, you can also show up a little later and grab a few cocktails with friends, too. It's not like they're carding.

Topher's pitiful attempts at gesturing toward upper-shelf alcohol bottles were probably pretty funny to the English-speaking Italian bartender, which was probably why said bartender was allowing him to proceed with the pathetic display.

Eventually he got a drink placed in front of him. It was lavender, and contained an umbrella.

He had wanted wine.

"I don't think bartenders have much of a code of honor," Topher said thoughtfully. "One time at Tony's bar, I think I wound up drinking a lemon juice and peanut butter alcohol milkshake."

Yeah, but he had requested it.

After a nice, relaxing day, Hannibal decided a good drink and some light food were in order. And the sunsets really were lovely.
