Castello di Casole [Monday Evening, October 14, 2013]

The sun had fallen behind the horizon, but the lights around the estate were still on and its staff was still ready to look after your every whim - within reason. Here's your chance to dash back into town for a good party, or relax out in your room before you go to bed.

"I imagine you might want to cook sometimes," Clint said. "As amazing as eating out all the time seems, sometimes a home cooked meal is just... you know, better."

"Says the guy who doesn't cook," Kitty grinned.

"Hey, that doesn't mean I don't enjoy meals that are cooked for me," Clint pointed out. "It means I'm used to city delivery and I also like not being on fire."

"I like you not on fire, too. Along with your house, or my apartment," Kitty said. "Fine, fine, I'll be the cooking person, for the safety of you and others."

"Awesome. See, we're right on the same wavelength," Clint said, before pausing for a moment. "Wait, is that really sexist of me to suggest you should do the cooking?" One of the perks of working with people like Natasha and Hill was learning to ask these questions.
throughaphase: (just been working)

"Only if you suggested it because you think I should be," Kitty said, obviously not bothered. "If it's because I'm offering and/or I'm the least likely to send anyone to the hospital, then it's just common sense."

"Okay, that does make sense," Clint said, shoving some food in his mouth because mmm Thanksgiving. "I'm not usually that grateful for Canadians, but I might give in this time."
throughaphase: (little smile)

"Not grateful for Canadians. Somewhere Logan is very disappointed," Kitty teased.

"I'm sure he'll get over it with a few beers. I think he and I managed to hit it off all right when he visited," Clint said. "Mainly because there was beer involved."

Kitty smiled. "He did say he didn't want to stab you. That's high praise from him."
so_hawkward: ([neut] looking at you)

"And that's good, 'cause I'm pretty sure he could stab me well." Clint played with his mashed potatoes for a moment before adding, "Barney liked you too. Which isn't surprising, really, but it's still nice to know."
throughaphase: (pleased)

It really was. "I liked him too," she said, since she figured Clint might want to know that, too. "Have you heard from him?"
