St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Thursday Morning and Afternoon
The good news was, it still wasn't raining. The bad news was, it was still muddy outside. Hopefully, if you were coming out for the Habitat for Humanity build, you'd wear shoes you didn't mind getting dirty!
If you weren't heading for the build, well, there was still plenty to do, especially for those who had a thing for wildlife. Or, there were still plenty of hotel amenities to explore, and with only one day left in town, time was running out to see what the city had to offer!

Re: St. John's [13th of October] - Coffee Matters
"I don't talk about you all that much," Peter lied. "But I'm sorry if anything I've done has led you to bring me up more. You've got a loyal bunch of friends - I'm not actually out to offend any of you, you know."
He just didn't particularly care if he did.
Mostly. Kind of.
Re: St. John's [13th of October] - Coffee Matters
"'We came into the world like brother and brother, and now let's go hand in hand, not one before another,'" he quoted. "I don't want to do this, Peter. You don't even want to do this, or at least you care enough to pretend not to want it. So here's the deal: we can have coffee once a week. We'll talk - about how you're doing, or how I'm doing, or how we're feeling about Kant that particular week. I don't care. That's the effort I'm willing to put in here."
He didn't put in any demands. No offers that might give Peter the idea Ender thought he had the right to dictate what he did with any of it. Peter had his pride, and Ender knew what it was like, because in his own way he had it too.
Re: St. John's [13th of October] - Coffee Matters
It would be a good way to counteract whatever Ender's friends might put into his head, wouldn't it? "Trying to show an interest in your life, that kind of thing."

"Are mother and father having another row?" he asked, picking up on the code he was using.
