Mirax hadn't managed to get down here yet, and if she couldn't sit out on the beach to tan, why not try it? She wasn't much for fish, but this was pretty neat. Who knew she could stand looking at seahorses for so long?

Momoko had woken early enough to grab one of the better placed lounge chairs this morning, but the rain had her altering her plans just a little. Not that she minded the rain or being on the beach during the rain, but this way she could go see the ruins of Atlantis! Which, in a totally cute new dress, she promptly did.

"So cool!" She read from the map they'd handed her at the hotel: "believed to be chambers used to store light-sensitive navigational documents..." Ah! The jelly fish were so pretty! She was probably going to be here until lunch, face pressed to the glass.

Jaime was trying to take in the sights. He couldn't just sit around and enjoy the scenery the whole time, after all. So he was wandering around, looking distracted, when he heard a familiar voice.

Huh... probably his imagination.

Totally his imagination!

"Ah! So pretty!" She was almost entranced. They just kept floating around, tumbling upside down and almost inside out. "Ah ah! I can't believe you guys can be at all poisonous!"

Still somewhat oblivious, Jaime kept walking. His head turned to the side to watch a couple of very colorful jellyfish meant that he wasn't watching where he was going.

One of the larger and darker of the jellyfish came quickly towards the glass, startling Momoko and causing her to back up just a bit from the glass. "Ah! Sneaky! You scared me!"

She was about to poke at the glass with her fingernail when someone tried to run her over.

"Hey!" She pushed back at the person, using a bit more than usual strength. "Ah! Excuse me, sorry! But, you really should be more careful where you walk!"

"Sorry!" the someone in question exclaimed apologetically. "I was distracted..."

Wait... he knew that body he ran into...

Well, he certainly knew the grin.

"Jaime! Yay!" She hugged him, instantly forgetting that he'd nearly knocked her down. "You came to see the Atlantis too? Aren't the jellyfish so totally cute! Ah! Did you see the seahorses? oh oh! Weren't they the cutest things?"

Sorry, she'd been deprived of a person to squee with all morning, and he was getting the brunt of it.

Jaime sort of reflexively hugged her back and laughed. "So what's the cutest thing here?" He wouldn't be surprised if the answer was 'everything'.

Silly Jaime.

"Me!" Really, now! "And then maybe the seahorses. They have baby ones!"

"Stupid question, huh?" Jaime asked with a grin. He reached out and tapped her chin. "You're up mighty early."

She grinned and looped her arm through his to drag him down the hall. "Of course! There's only a little time left and then we have to go home and I may never come back and there's so much more to see!"

"I guess we were thinking pretty much the same thing," he laughed. "So... where to next?"

"Hmmm. Let's see!" She opened her map and looked for the next exhibit. "Oooh! Lobsters! Oh, that might make me hungry, we should totally see them last. Hmmm. How about this section with the clown fish? I think it's over there!"

"If you want clown fish, we'll go see some clown fish, then." Jaime grinned and turned around, still keeping their arms linked. "Wait... which way is that?"

She chuckled and tugged him in the proper direction. "This way! That's back to the seahorses, which I totally wouldn't mind seeing again, if you haven't, but first the clown fish! They're in an old Atlantis storage room! Doesn't that sound awesome? I can't wait to see it!"

Yeah, she had no idea the 'dig' wasn't real.

And Jaime had no intention of telling her. It was too adorable to spoil with silly things like boring old reality.

"It does sound pretty awesome," Jaime agreed with a grin, letting her drag him off toward the clown fish. "Not as awesome as me, of course, but still pretty awesome."

"You think you're more awesome than ruins of an ancient underwater city? Especially one filled with cute fish?" She shook her head and tsked. "You totally have some proving to do to match that claim!"

Jaime tried to make his lower lip wobble and opened his eyes wide while trying to look hurt. "Are... you saying I'm not awesome?"

She shoved at his shoulder with a snort of laughter. "I believe you said you were more awesome than Atlantis," she replied, totally not answering the question.
