Friday dawned looking picture perfect. The sun rose high into the sky, providing warmth and light across the island. Fluffy clouds dotted the sky, giving it a postcard like look. And all across the resort, things were opening up, coming to life, preparing to entertain. The vacation was nearly over for the denizens of Fandom but there was still time to have some fun. Make sure you don't miss your chance!

Royal Towers

Welcome to the Royal Towers (http://www.atlantis.com/accommodations/royaltowers.aspx) guest rooms featuring a French balcony, moddable King bed or two Queen beds, a sitting area with television, safe, service bar, and full access to room service. Upgrades have been provided to the chaperones, allowing them some additional luxury in the larger Regal Suites.

Yeah, okay, as part of the shopping trip that accounted for the new pile of bags taking up a corner of the room, Kennedy had totally gone into Atlantis Pals yesterday after all.

...shut up.

Which was why, after she headed out to the fitness center for a workout, there'd be a box left by Tara's side of the bed, containing a stuffed sea lion and its 'official certificate of adoption.'

She was not a dork. Shut up.

Tara found the sea lion after her shower, but before she had any breakfast. It was a good thing Kennedy was gone by then -- Tara seemed slightly younger than sixteen when she talked baby talk to a stuffed animal. And this sea lion totally deserved baby talk, and cuddling, and delighted bouncing around.

She was naming it Gustaf.

Right now, he had very important business to attend to.

"Very important business" might have meant time spent polishing off the largest breakfast room service had to offer and watching a marathon of that show about the old ladies who talked about sex all the time, but he was on vacation.

Endless miles of white sand beach stretch as far as the eye can see. Lounge chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, and bar-side swings are available to all guests of Atlantis.

So, Alex's nails were painted and, really, he didn't particularly mind. It wasn't that he liked having his nails painted, it was more the whole experience had been kind of fucking fun.

Sprawled on a beach towel, sunglasses covering his eyes, Alex decided that getting some sun and occasionally getting up to slip into the water was a good way to spend a few hours.

Even if she'd never exactly been pale to begin with and plenty of time on the climbing wall this week had done its part, Kennedy wasn't letting the tanning opportunity slip away completely. A towel on the beach felt like a good idea today, anyhow, and a drink whose color you could probably spot from space pretty much justified it.

Keeping her face buried in her arms was a convenient way to hide any lingering crankyface issues. Shh.

It might be best not to ask where Emmett had been hiding since they got here. Mostly because he'd tell you, in possibly greater detail than you'd want to know. It involved the mun mostly feeling like crap all week a cabana boy and an Italian exchange student named Paolo -- no, see, they were both named Paolo, which was less confusing than you'd imagine because the phrase Oh, Paolo was remarkably flexible. As was Paolo. No, the other one. Suffice it to say, Emmett no longer felt the need to pinch himself to prove he was really here.

He did, however, feel the need to hit the beach and soak up some of this sun before they all got shipped back to Snow Central, so here he was, lounging on a towel, sipping something really really pink -- pinker than a Cosmo, seriously -- and reading the trashiest novel he could find in the hotel gift shop.

It was the last full day here, and while Sookie would surely take part in some of the other activities, right now, all she really wanted to do was lie in the sun and soak it up before they had to return to Fandom. Which, incidentally, in her mind currently looked like the inside of a snowglobe, despite the veracity of that opinion.

Emma had a Very Important Spa appointment later in the day, but for now, she was on the beach, soaking up as much sun as humanly (mutantly?) possible while reading her book.

After the Vermonster at Ben and Jerry's, all Karla could do was find a lounge chair and collapse into it.

She'd be over here, sleeping off some of that ice cream.

Despite the sights available, and despite the fact that he didn't swim, Leto found that a lounge chair under an umbrella was the best place to be.

The sickeningly sweet drinks had been abandoned a few days ago, and he stuck to water and coffee - with spice subtly added - and watched the sea.

Puck was going to make a point to go hang out by the pools or something later, but hey, you can't fault the kid from Ohio for wanting to see some more beach.

He stretched out on a lounger with a beer and his iPod, and began a series of texts to Finn that ranged from lol hows the snow to actual pictures of bikini-clad female beach-goers. Sorry, ladies.

After visiting the marine habitat, Alex grabbed herself a towel and sprawled out on the sand. She was attempting to soak up as much sun as possible before they had to leave.

She was dreading going back to the snow and cold. She wondered if anyone would notice if she attempted to stay in the Bahamas.

Rose just kinda looked around as she entered the spa. It was - wow, totally amazing and way cooler than she'd really expected and why had they waited until almost the end of the week to go?

"I'm pretty sure I'm never going to be okay with being wrapped in seaweed," she let Jaina know as they were ensconced in incredibly comfy chairs for their pedicures.

Water's Edge

Due to spending so much time outside, Jonas was actually starting to lose some of the paleness that had been attached to his skin for so long. This morning, as he found a quiet spot to eat some breakfast (http://www.atlantis.com/dining/casualdining/watersedge.aspx), he actually looked a little tan.

So much time spent with his shirt off so both fun and helpful, apparently. Jonas really couldn't complain.

Ben had four spoons.

Now all Ben needed was his three friends to help him eat twenty scoops of ice cream!

Rory had a ton of souvenirs to pick up -- mostly because her mother was on the verge of killing her, but pff, details.

She managed to find an adorably sparkly purse for her mother, something nice for Paris, and several books for Juliet, who liked reading a lot despite being less than a year old. And yes, okay, she also got that stuffed flamingo Anakin had insisted upon. Juliet apparently liked birds, according to her father. Weirdo.

Earth & Fire Pottery Studio

Mulan was continuing her exploration of the resort when she spotted the pottery studio. Once she saw the pottery options, she knew she wasn't leaving without at least one of them. Hopefully she could get through this without breaking the vase she chose.
