Atlantis Resort - Wednesday [Rooms & Activities]

As the sun rose over the Bahamas, it brought with it all the signs of rain...

Oh, who are we kidding? It was another warm and sunny day here at Atlantis, and with everything at the resort reset and ready, all that was needed were guests ready to go out and have an amazing day.

Kate was apparently spending most of the day on the beach. She did manage to leave her chosen spot eventually, though, for favor of wandering around the beach.

Which was how she - wearing her bikini, of course, and her sunglasses, but without a drink in her hand – came across Mat.

"Hey, Mat. Enjoying yourself?"

Mat nodded. "I've heard the expression 'hot as hell' since I've been here, and that is rather the idea. The Dark One is breaking free of the prison he'd been locked in since bloody Creation. His control over the weather is just to remind us that he's coming."

He shook his head. "Hardly vacation talk. Have you found the drinks that come in pineapples?"

A whole lot of that went over her head, but she did get the idea that it was bad.

Pineapples and drinks. Those were more her thing. "Seen them, but I haven't tried them. I had a drink that was the freakiest color I've ever seen, though."

"Well, actually, it wasn't so much that the color was unidentifiable, because it was... kind of green?" Kate replied. "But it was just so unnatural that it looked like it wasn't meant for drinking."
