Atlantis Resort - Wednesday [Rooms & Activities]

As the sun rose over the Bahamas, it brought with it all the signs of rain...

Oh, who are we kidding? It was another warm and sunny day here at Atlantis, and with everything at the resort reset and ready, all that was needed were guests ready to go out and have an amazing day.

"I'd offer to let you cuddle up to me but that'd get me in trouble," he joked. "Still, should find someone to cuddle up with. That tends to help me sleep better."

Hannibal paused and made a face. "I don't mean go out and get laid or anything like that. I meant that innocently."

Kate snickered. "No, I think getting laid would work too. Plus it would be double the fun."

"Well, it probably would but I shouldn't be like pushing you to go bang someone," he said, shaking his head. "Makes me feel all pimp like."

"And now you're making it sound like I'd just go screw anyone," she joked. "Gee, thanks, Hannibal."

"That is not what I was getting at!" Hannibal said and pouted at her. "You know what I meant. I meant...not that!"

Kate smirked at him again, sipping her drink. "Yeah, I know. But it's fun to tease you."

"Don't tease me or I'll bury you in the sand and leave you here," he threatened not at all seriously.

"Yeah, because you could so totally do that." By which she meant the exact opposite.

"I'm bigger than you, I could totally do it," he said. "Don't make challenges you know you'll lose."

"I never do," she said with a light, amused grin. "That's more your thing."

For that, she got a bigger clump of sand kicked at her. "I will make you eat this sand, meanie."

Kate was... most concerned about protecting her drink from getting sand in it, it seemed. "Hey! I am not a meanie."

"You're a meanie," he said, nodding knowingly. "The sooner you accept that, the easier it becomes to embrace your meanness."

"I'm difficult, not a meanie," she argued. "I'm not the one kicking sand around."

"Kicking sand around is immature," he informed. "You're still a meanie. I bet I could find some people who back me up."

"I don't think you could," she said. "And my ex doesn't count."

"I wouldn't need to ask your ex," he said confidently. "I'd find other people."

He'd just bribe them, if he had to.

Kate shook her head. "Sorry, I just can't see that happening. People love me."

"You sure about that?" Hannibal asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I'm not making a bet with you about this, babe," she replied, tilting her head to the side. "I'm sure you'd cheat, because there is no way you'd find anyone who'd honestly think that way about me."

"Oh babe, you know me too well," Hannibal said, grinning. "I was gonna flag down a waiter and ask him. Give him a big tip if he agreed with me."

"See?" Kate asked, grinning back at him. "I can't be a meanie, I just saved you money."

"The big question is," Hannibal said, finishing half of his drink, "do you love all these fans of yours back?"

"Of course," she said. "But some more than others."

"Who's your number one fan?" he asked, smirking.
