Spa at the Monastery [St. John's, Newfoundland & Labrador, Tuesday Evening]

Someday, there would be a clear evening in St. John's. Today was not that day - or that night. (Spoiler: tomorrow might be.) The rain was light, though, the temperature in the mid-40's for you Fahrenheit-speaking heathens, and around 7°C for normal people.

There were plenty of indoor entertainment options, though, for the normal and the not-so, and if you'd packed a jacket and umbrella, the walk to various night-spots wouldn't be uncomfortable at all. If you didn't pack an umbrella, you could always buy one! Or stand under someone else's...ella... ella... ella.

For someone who went to meetings, she was still sometimes very young.

"I bet they taste like it anyway, but in that way where yellow Skittles are supposed to taste like lemon or pink Starbursts are supposed to be strawberry and they're really not," she mused.

"Maybe we should just get a bunch of different ones and experiment," Rilla said.

That would end well.

But then, the probability of two very obviously under-aged girls getting anything but fruit juice and ice was really low.
