"We might be stuck for anything to do." Parker looked gloomy. "God, I hope that it helps. Even if we went back to Fandom now, I don't know how else we could help." She stabbed at her shrimp. "I should call Janet tonight, and see if she can find out anything, or if she's been hanging around the clinic and already knows what's going on."

She shook herself. "Something Irish. Angel wanted to come on the trip, and I bet he would've snuck off to visit the Old Country at some point."

"It's a good thing some people stayed in Fandom," Angela said. "We'd be even more stuck if everyone was here."

She lazily waved a forkful of biryani Martyward. "Maybe we should get him a leprachaun teddy bear, to match my Beefeater one."

Marty practically choked on a prawn from laughing. "I'm sorry. I just had the image of Angel dressed in his wifebeater snuggling a teddy bear."

"Gahhh. Are you trying to make me inhale curry? Evil!" Parker whapped him with her napkin, laughing, then swallowed finally. "And something for Callisto. She wasn't in great shape when I talked to her last night."

"How about a teddy bear in a black suit with overly styled fur?"

Rice practically comes out of Angela's nose, that particular mental image makes her laugh so hard.

Parker started coughing from garlic going the wrong way, then just kept chortling. "You get to explain it!"

"I rather think the bear is self-explanatory," Marty said with a grin. "But I think the best thing to do is to have Kiki deliver it so I can get a head start before she hunts me down."

"Yeah, I bet she wouldn't be," Angela said, wincing. "Is she pretty much living at the clinic?"

"From what I could tell." Parker glared at her food. "She was kind of having a spaz attack, so I called Bridge to go take care of her. I'm not sure she's getting any sleep at all."

"Bridge would be good," Angela nodded. "He's all centered and goofy and stuff."

"I'll get Cal something pretty."

"Yeah Bridge is a very calming kind of guy," Marty said nodding. "He sure made me feel better after the fuzzy memory thing happened."

"Back in October?" Parker forked another shrimp into her mouth, chewed and swallowed, then said, "I didn't know he helped you out then. That's ... cool."

Marty blinked a few times at Parker. "What? No this was a couple of weeks ago when you were punishing me for the rabbit thing. What happened in October?"

Parker blinked, counted in her head, then smacked herself. "November. Kitty. The memory thing. And oh, got it. Wait, did you ever figure out what was going on with you a couple weeks ago? I swear, I did not hit you that hard."

Marty frowned a little at the mention of kitty's name but decided not to address it.

"No I never figured out what happened that week. I'm still having a memory issues on that."

"I could fill you in on everything, but we might start fighting again," Parker said warily. "Do you remember the Gomez Brothers, though?"

Marty chuckled. "Yes, I remember the Gomez brothers very well and it's probably a good idea we don't revisit that week."

Marty then turned to Angela. "So how's your first trip out of the country? Are you enjoying it?"

"I'm enjoying the subject change," Angela chuckled, with a still-wary glance at Marty and Parker. "But yeah, it's a good trip. I liked the market this morning, and the Tower was fun. And this is way better than most of the Indian food in Pittsburgh."

"Mmm." Parker put her shades back on. "So. A bear for Angel, heh. Photos. Maybe pictures at the Palace, taunting the Beefeaters?"

"Why not?" Angela said with a shrug as she ate a last bite of biryani. "Let's do it."

[OOC: I'm headed home in a few and may not be back for a couple hours -- is it okay to handwave at least some of this?]

"Hi!" Rory said, bouncing up with Xander. "What are you all having? Is there curry? I like curry. Guess how many cups of coffee I've had already. Guess. Seriously."

"A hundred and twelve," Angela suggested. "Give or take a few dozen."

"Good call - except I don't think that includes the mochaccino," Xander said, setting his laptop case and a shopping bag down at an empty space near the end of the table.

"I like Angela's guess. Really." Parker grinned. "You guys get much shopping done? Or were you stuck in research mode?"
