Atlantis Resort - Thursday [Rooms & Activities]

Once again, Atlantis was the picture of Bahamian perfection. Clear skies greeted guests for another day of fun in the sun. In the night, the resort had been reset, everything fresh and new, from smooth beaches to full buffets. Whatever the Fandomites hearts desired was there and ready for the taking!

Royal Towers

A day spent in the sun and a late night out meant Hannibal would just be curled up in bed, taking advantage of all the free time he had to sleep. It might not be exploring or adventuring but the bed was big, the room was cool, and he had time.

Room 631

Another wonderful day of not having to deal with the roommate. He was celebrating by slipping on his swim trunks to go hit the beach, maybe do a bit of exploring.

He was getting a bit concerned about the possibility of sunburn.

Endless miles of white sand beach stretch as far as the eye can see. Lounge chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, and bar-side swings are available to all guests of Atlantis.

He might not like swimming, but he didnt mind the sand. Leto had found himself a lounge chair under an umbrella where he was skimming through a newspaper he had picked up. He dug his toes into the sand. Hopefully the umbrella would offer enough protection from the sun not to wear a shirt. The heat and light wind was actually rather nice against the skin.

Of course Kate started her day on the beach again, flat on her back on a towel. She was determined to tan, dammit.

There was a coffee date to be had, later, but now there was only sunshine. (And yes, faint memories of nightmares. Again.)

Tahiri's fascination with the shoreline hadn't diminished at all, and she spent a long, long portion of her morning wandering up and down said shoreline, always ankle-deep at the very least in the water. Occasionally she'd stop and stand there, watching the waves roll in and wash around her legs for a while before resuming her walk.

It was a nice, balanced feeling.

It was back under a beach umbrella, sitting with a book closed on her lap for today.

She'd read. In a bit.

For now Hinata--with her sunglasses firmly on--was quite content to watch the waves and just relax.

Jonas had grand plans to head over to the water park today but he figured that starting his day off with a slow walk along the beach would help gather his thoughts and his courage.

Besides, he liked the way the sand squished between his toes and the waves lapped at his feet.

Alex was, once again, down at the beach. She sprawled out on a towel and flipped through a magazine, intent on tanning. She'd hit the water eventually.

Hayley woke up that morning on the beach.

She looked a slightly odd, what with sand in her hair and over her swimsuit. But she felt she was getting better rest than what she'd get sleeping in the same room as that clown hater.

So Hayley stayed on the beach that morning, and would eventually go out into the ocean to wash out the sand. Then she'd make another stealthy trip up to her room to change.

Jack had decided the beach was the best place to spend his vacation. There was sun, sand and frozen drinks, and very little was expected of him. He sprawled out on a towel, working on a letter to Rivka since he felt a bit guilty about not spending his break at home.

After his stop at Ben and Jerry's, Ben ended up on the beach.

As a natural redhead, tanning was kind of not an option for him, but swimming in the ocean would never lose its appeal.

Besides, the crashing waves kept him from being too self-conscious about the scars on his back.

After another frustrating call with Lorelai, who was getting a little sick of the constant ringing of her phone, Rory tried to take her mother's advice. She got herself a drink and stretched out with a book (after liberally applying sunscreen, of course) and tried to relax on the beach.

After five minutes, she sent a text: J doesn't need as many naps as B did. don't make her sleep if she's not tired.

Less than a minute passed before another text rolled back in: i will come 2 the Bahamas & take away ur phone if u dont stop.

Rory forgave her mother's terrible text-speak, and set her phone aside for the time being.

Beka would eventually found herself a spot to lie and enjoy the sun. For now, she was running along the water's edge. Sand was exhausting to run in, but it made for good training.

Jack went for a stroll, wearing large sunglasses, the better to scope out the 'scenery' without getting caught (it's not like he was subtle). Maybe he'd find a place to lay down for a bit, work on his tan. Or even find his girlfriend, that could work, too!

Momoko was again at the beach. She wasn't spending her time on the chairs today, though. She was in the water, exploring how far down she could swim before having to come back up.

At one point she tried to see how many fish would come up to her if she stayed really still. That game didn't last long, though since the water was too beautiful for her to stay still for very long.

Kurt was back on the beach again, like he'd been every day this week for serious. There was just too much to do in the sand, and he wanted to do it all before the week was out.

Today, he'd finally gotten the bright idea of hanging his watch from a string around his neck, so he could dig his hands into the sand without worrying about breaking it.

Parts of Angela were sunburned after yesterday, but not so much that she couldn't take a trip down to the spa. She was kind of hoping they'd be able to do something about it, actually. And they didn't, though they did use a lot of stuff she didn't need no matter how much she complained it smelled funny, and finally she just decided to go with a massage.

And they couldn't even do that right, leading to more complaints of "You're doing it too hard," and "Where were you trained, the WWF?"

She assumed that was a good enough insult. She'd only ever seen commercials for the WWF.

Late night last night, and a late morning today put it at about midday before Effy found her way to the spa for her it is not a date thank you, thing with Alex. Might not be impressed with how she'd caught the sun a little on her cheeks being out yesterday, but she was kind of enjoying how good she looked in these pants today.

They weren't technically leather, because out here that just wasn't easy to do. But skin-tight and shiny (http://img268.imageshack.us/img268/605/kayascodelario003.jpg) had to count for something, right? Improvisation worked for her.

No way was Kennedy going to pass up a chance to go shopping, even if she had way too many things to pack up and bring home already. She could always use some new pants, and with warmer weather coming up soon she'd have to get ready for that wardrobe-wise. Plus she thought she'd seen a really a cool jacket, and it never hurt to have a few extra pairs of shoes...

Hey, it was serious business.

Kennedy happened to wander across Atlantis Pals (http://www.atlantis.com/thingstodo/activities/atlantispals.aspx), and paused for a while outside, hands crammed in her pockets while she contemplated going in or not.

Aw, come on, she wasn't that much of a secret softie... right?
