Atlantis Resort - Thursday [Rooms & Activities]

Once again, Atlantis was the picture of Bahamian perfection. Clear skies greeted guests for another day of fun in the sun. In the night, the resort had been reset, everything fresh and new, from smooth beaches to full buffets. Whatever the Fandomites hearts desired was there and ready for the taking!

Welcome to the Royal Towers (http://www.atlantis.com/accommodations/royaltowers.aspx) guest rooms featuring a French balcony, ~~moddable~~ King bed or two Queen beds, a sitting area with television, safe, service bar, and full access to room service. Upgrades have been provided to the chaperones, allowing them some additional luxury in the larger Regal Suites (http://www.atlantis.com/accommodations/royaltowers/regalsuites.aspx)

Endless miles of white sand beach stretch as far as the eye can see. Lounge chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, and bar-side swings are available to all guests of Atlantis.

He might not like swimming, but he didnt mind the sand. Leto had found himself a lounge chair under an umbrella where he was skimming through a newspaper he had picked up. He dug his toes into the sand. Hopefully the umbrella would offer enough protection from the sun not to wear a shirt. The heat and light wind was actually rather nice against the skin.

Of course Kate started her day on the beach again, flat on her back on a towel. She was determined to tan, dammit.

There was a coffee date to be had, later, but now there was only sunshine. (And yes, faint memories of nightmares. Again.)

A day spent in the sun and a late night out meant Hannibal would just be curled up in bed, taking advantage of all the free time he had to sleep. It might not be exploring or adventuring but the bed was big, the room was cool, and he had time.

No way was Kennedy going to pass up a chance to go shopping, even if she had way too many things to pack up and bring home already. She could always use some new pants, and with warmer weather coming up soon she'd have to get ready for that wardrobe-wise. Plus she thought she'd seen a really a cool jacket, and it never hurt to have a few extra pairs of shoes...

Hey, it was serious business.

Kennedy happened to wander across Atlantis Pals (http://www.atlantis.com/thingstodo/activities/atlantispals.aspx), and paused for a while outside, hands crammed in her pockets while she contemplated going in or not.

Aw, come on, she wasn't that much of a secret softie... right?

Tahiri's fascination with the shoreline hadn't diminished at all, and she spent a long, long portion of her morning wandering up and down said shoreline, always ankle-deep at the very least in the water. Occasionally she'd stop and stand there, watching the waves roll in and wash around her legs for a while before resuming her walk.

It was a nice, balanced feeling.

Fine, so Jaina sucked at the relaxation part of vacation. She had more fun when she was being active anyway. She had ideas for what to do later, but she was starting off her morning at the fitness center, hitting the machines before she really got started with her day.

Parts of Angela were sunburned after yesterday, but not so much that she couldn't take a trip down to the spa. She was kind of hoping they'd be able to do something about it, actually. And they didn't, though they did use a lot of stuff she didn't need no matter how much she complained it smelled funny, and finally she just decided to go with a massage.

And they couldn't even do that right, leading to more complaints of "You're doing it too hard," and "Where were you trained, the WWF?"

She assumed that was a good enough insult. She'd only ever seen commercials for the WWF.

It was back under a beach umbrella, sitting with a book closed on her lap for today.

She'd read. In a bit.

For now Hinata--with her sunglasses firmly on--was quite content to watch the waves and just relax.

Of course Kate would wander over when she spotted him.

"Hey you. How's the vacation been treating you?" she asked, removing her red sarong and setting it down on the sand next to his chair before flopping down to sit on it in her bikini.

She was kind of obviously in far better spirits than she had been when they last met. A little tired from not sleeping well, sure, but not in shock anymore. Her cheerfulness wasn't forced.

Before making his way over to the water park (and his impending doom), Jonas ended up on the beach, this time to take an early morning walk. When he spotted Hinata, he changed his path and waved.

Of course, he realized she was wearing sunglasses AFTER he waved so now he had to hope she wasn't asleep and he hadn't just made himself look foolish. It wouldn't be the first time on this trip.

Jonas had grand plans to head over to the water park today but he figured that starting his day off with a slow walk along the beach would help gather his thoughts and his courage.

Besides, he liked the way the sand squished between his toes and the waves lapped at his feet.

At first, Loki thought he'd be able to get into a monster truck and crush some of his fucking competition. When he realized it was all remote controlled, he was pissed for a moment before he realized he could still crush his competition.

First, he just had to build a fucking car. He tended to leave the carpentry to someone else but Loki figured he could just fucking punch anyone who beat him.

Tahiri happened to wander by on her own very, very long stroll down the beach, and paused to smile at him. "Hey, Jonas."

Alex was, once again, down at the beach. She sprawled out on a towel and flipped through a magazine, intent on tanning. She'd hit the water eventually.

Hayley woke up that morning on the beach.

She looked a slightly odd, what with sand in her hair and over her swimsuit. But she felt she was getting better rest than what she'd get sleeping in the same room as that clown hater.

So Hayley stayed on the beach that morning, and would eventually go out into the ocean to wash out the sand. Then she'd make another stealthy trip up to her room to change.

"Hello, Tahiri," Jonas said, turning his attention from the sand in between his toes to give her a wave and a grin. "How's the vacation treating you?"

"I don't think I've ever spent this much time in the sun and sand and enjoyed it." Tahiri pushed a lock of hair back from her forehead and grinned, then held her own hands out to inspect them. "Or gotten a tan before."

She'd been ridiculously pale for a desert brat, but she'd spent all her time wrapped from head to toe per Tusken style. "You look like you've been having fun." If she thought he seemed a little nervous, she wasn't going to comment on it.

"I have been," he said and that was sincere. He'd been having more fun than he thought possible. "I've managed to avoid getting sunburn and I think I'm going to feel permanently warm now even when we go back. Everything's so bright and colorful here. I don't know if I want to leave."

"I'd like to stay for a while, too," Tahiri admitted, "but it's not really an option for me. What, you don't think you might get tired of those fruity drinks and relaxing on the beach after a while? I mean, you can only take an innertube through the river ride in the water park about six hundred times before you get tired of it."

She'd only gone twice. Shh.

"While that might be true, I don't know if I've gotten to that stage yet," he said and laughed. "I haven't even visited the water park, yet. I've wanted to but each time, I've gotten distracted. It's on my schedule for today."

If he didn't chicken out, that is.
