Atlantis Resort - Wednesday [Rooms & Activities]

As the sun rose over the Bahamas, it brought with it all the signs of rain...

Oh, who are we kidding? It was another warm and sunny day here at Atlantis, and with everything at the resort reset and ready, all that was needed were guests ready to go out and have an amazing day.

Jaime had spent part of the morning just sitting around and smiling a bit goofily. This wasn't particularly unusual, so it was entirely possible that no one noticed.

He still had a hard time believing the luck of getting stuck in a room with Tony. He was so going to pick the guy's brain about Dinah... Hey! Maybe Tony had incriminating photos! That'd be awesome!

Tony came back to the room after breakfast and flopped down on his bed. He eyed Jaime. "What's with the grin?"

Jaime blinked and looked up in surprise. "Huh? Oh, nothing really. Just thinking." About, you know, the hot girl kissing him.

"Yeah?" Tony asked. "About anyone in particular?" He knew Dinah was interested in Jaime, so might as well do some recon while he was here.

"Why would you ask that?" Jaime asked far-too-casually-to-be-innocent. "I mean, maybe I was thinking about math or something."

And, no fair, Tony! Jaime was supposed to be the one doing recon!

"Wow," Tony said. "You're really into math, huh?"

"Maybe!" Jaime insisted. Okay, that sounded lame even to him.

"So... what's up? We haven't really talked since we got here..." Subtle topic changes pretty clearly weren't Jaime's thing.

"I went swimming with dolphins!" Tony grinned, 'cause how cool was that? "D'you know they're kinda rubbery? But friendly."

"Dude!" That was awesome. "Did you have to know someone, or can anyone just, like, find some dolphins or whatever?" Because, seriously.

"It's one of the activities you can do! Granted, it's not as exciting as math..." No, not letting that go just yet.

Jaime nodded in what he hoped was a sage manner. "Well, sure... but you can't spend all day thinking about math." Or kissing hot girls in bikinis.

"True enough," Tony said. "What've you been up to?"

"Not much, really." Jaime shrugged in what he hoped was a casual manner. "Just sort of hanging out. Swimming." And making out under water, but whatever.

On an utterly unrelated topic, Jaime flopped back on his bed and asked all casually, "Hey, you and Dinah are pretty good friends, right?"

Ah-ha! "Yeah, we are. Did you need help with your math questions?" All innocence here, yup.

"I'm just looking for dirt on her." Jaime grinned. "She's kind of hilarious when she's flustered, you know?" Cute, too, but that certainly wasn't why Jaime was asking. Nope.

"She's my best friend. I'm not going to spill all her secrets," Tony said. He paused, then added, "I do have some pictures of her from Halloween, though."

"Halloween?" Jaime repated innocently. "Didn't she dress up as a superheroine or something?" Like he hadn't been trying to find copies of those pictures since Dinah had mentioned them.

"Yeah, someone called the Black Canary," Tony said. He pulled up the photos on his phone and showed them to Jaime.

Jaime had already had some idea of what to expect since he'd met his own world's Black Canary. But for some reason that didn't help him with his plan to look casual and not stare.

"Wow," he eventually managed. "That's pretty ~~hot~~ cool." He tried, again, to sound casual. "Think I could get copies?" You know, just to tease Dinah with?

"I should probably text her and make sure she's cool with that," Tony said, only half teasing.

"I'm sure she'd be cool with it," Jaime insisted with a casual wave of his hand. "I mean, she looks good in those, so why wouldn't she?" Right? Right?

Tony smirked, exchanged a few texts with Dinah and then held up his phone to take a photo of Jaime. "Smile," he said, then took the shot before Jaime could react.

"Huh?" Jaime asked, looking a bit confused (but still with a goofy grin on his face). Then he realized what had happened. "Wait! What was that for?"

Knowing Dinah... something that was going to embarrass him.

Tony pressed a few buttons on his phone. "She wants a photo of you, too," he said. He pressed a couple more buttons. "What's your email address?"

Jaime gave it to him. "You could have warned me," he complained. "Just springing that on a guy is so uncool." He'd looked like a dork, after all.
