Atlantis Resort - Wednesday [Rooms & Activities]

As the sun rose over the Bahamas, it brought with it all the signs of rain...

Oh, who are we kidding? It was another warm and sunny day here at Atlantis, and with everything at the resort reset and ready, all that was needed were guests ready to go out and have an amazing day.

"I'm just looking for dirt on her." Jaime grinned. "She's kind of hilarious when she's flustered, you know?" Cute, too, but that certainly wasn't why Jaime was asking. Nope.

"She's my best friend. I'm not going to spill all her secrets," Tony said. He paused, then added, "I do have some pictures of her from Halloween, though."

"Halloween?" Jaime repated innocently. "Didn't she dress up as a superheroine or something?" Like he hadn't been trying to find copies of those pictures since Dinah had mentioned them.

"Yeah, someone called the Black Canary," Tony said. He pulled up the photos on his phone and showed them to Jaime.

Jaime had already had some idea of what to expect since he'd met his own world's Black Canary. But for some reason that didn't help him with his plan to look casual and not stare.

"Wow," he eventually managed. "That's pretty ~~hot~~ cool." He tried, again, to sound casual. "Think I could get copies?" You know, just to tease Dinah with?

"I should probably text her and make sure she's cool with that," Tony said, only half teasing.

"I'm sure she'd be cool with it," Jaime insisted with a casual wave of his hand. "I mean, she looks good in those, so why wouldn't she?" Right? Right?

Tony smirked, exchanged a few texts with Dinah and then held up his phone to take a photo of Jaime. "Smile," he said, then took the shot before Jaime could react.

"Huh?" Jaime asked, looking a bit confused (but still with a goofy grin on his face). Then he realized what had happened. "Wait! What was that for?"

Knowing Dinah... something that was going to embarrass him.

Tony pressed a few buttons on his phone. "She wants a photo of you, too," he said. He pressed a couple more buttons. "What's your email address?"

Jaime gave it to him. "You could have warned me," he complained. "Just springing that on a guy is so uncool." He'd looked like a dork, after all.

"What fun would that be?" He pushed a few more buttons. "Okay, pictures sent."

"Well, now that you've sent incriminating evidence on me to Dinah, and told her I even asked for the pictures, I feel like you owe me some embarrassing Dinah stories!" Come on. Just one or two!

"Huh." Tony scratched his chin. "Lemme see. Oh! Last year, when all the alternate kids showed up? She had four of them. One was with Arthur!"

Jaime barked a laugh at that. "Wow... that's... kind of hilarious." Okay, very hilarious. "Were they adorable?"

"Totally," Tony said. "Little monsters, but adorable ones. Not, y'know, literal monsters," he added quickly.

"Was she totally flustered by the whole thing?"

"Oh yeah," Tony said. "But she managed to look after all of her kids plus a few to spare."

"Somehow that doesn't surprise me." Jaime snorted. "She's something else, huh?"

"She is," Tony agreed, and added casually. "By the way, you mess with her head? I will totally turn you into a toad."

Jaime blinked, genuinely confused. "If I what?"

"If you mess with her head," Tony repeated. "Or pull any asshole stuff. I mean, you seem like a nice enough guy, but she's my best friend and the toad threat's kinda become a tradition."

"I'd never do that," Jaime objected. "That'd be seriously uncool." And not something Dinah deserved at all.

"Good. Cool." Tony smiled. "'Cause she's kinda into you."

"Really?" Jaime asked. A week ago he would have sounded more surprised. "How do you know?"
