Atlantis Resort, Bahamas | Sunday | Afternoon/Evening [Adventures]

As the group from Fandom emerged from the portal, they would be greeted by paradise. The weather was warm, immediately making any jackets and sweaters useless. The sky was a light blue flecked with clouds and, before the group, stood the sprawling Atlantis Resort. There was relaxation to be had but, never let it be said that the Bahamas didn't have many an adventure waiting for you. There's a little bit of everything here, something to satisfy every desire and we invite you to experience them all!

What happens in the Bahamas, stays in the Bahamas!

He'd best not as there was a Dog right there. The swimsuit was more than likely Emma's choice, to Beka it was all just confusing.

"This whole island's cracked," Beka told him.

No, but the swimsuit was - wow. George couldn't help looking for a long moment.

"Aye, but in a good way," he decided. "Very good way."

"Only 'cos you're seeing too many ways to get yourselves into trouble," she told him. "They come up with the strangest things."

"They do," he agreed wholeheartedly, turning his attention back to the waterpark. "An' I won' be gettin' in trouble in th'slightest."

"You won't," Beka agreed, because she was here now and she drew a breath as he looked away. She was too stubborn to let herself be distracted. "I'm not even that good a swimmer."

"S'why they have them wee floaty tubes," George pointed out. "An' I don' think th' water's that deep here."

She rolled her eyes at him. "I'll tie one round your nob," she threatened.

He snickered. "Ye can try, lass," he told her. "But me nob's not nearly that big."

His head, they were talking about his head on his neck. Not - other, yes.

"We'd make it work," she assured him. Definitely talking about his head. Anyone from the Lower City's know that.

"Tis so nice yer watchin' out fer me that way," George told her, giving her a sidelong glance. "Thought y'd stopped doin' that after last week."

She raised an eyebrow at him. "Why'd I do that?" she asked.

"Could've warned me about a lass an' her plans, couldn't ye?" he asked, scowling at her.

His eyes were still amused, but oh, yes, he was scowling.

Oh. That.

She made a face. "It seemed unfair she'd get to spring it on me and not you."

"Way she said it made it sound like yer idea too," George said.

He didn't believe that, no.

"Twas her suggestions," Beka said, a little defensive and she headed towards one of the pools. "I didn't know what to tell her."

George grinned and caught up with her, reaching up to touch her shoulder then pulling his hand back because, um, bare shoulder!

"I'm kiddin' wit' ye, lass," he promised.

She turned towards him, scowled for a moment but it didn't seem meant. "What did you tell her?"

[identity profile] noearsyet.livejournal.com 2010-02-21 11:14 pm (UTC)(link)
"If she wanted to, I wouldn't be objectin'?" he said, looking at Beka uncertainly.

"Jonas did not mind either," Beka said, which meant that everyone had agreed to. She did not look convinced however.

"Doesn't have t'be happenin' right away," George pointed out. Still a little weird to think about doing that with your great-great-grandmam.

[identity profile] provostsdog.livejournal.com 2010-02-21 11:26 pm (UTC)(link)
Imagine how weird it'd be to do that with your great-great-grandchild.

"No," she agreed. "There's no hurry."

Re: On the Outskirts

[identity profile] noearsyet.livejournal.com 2010-02-21 11:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Sure, but she hadn't grown up hearing stories about him and his life...

"Good then," he decided. "Where ye lookin' t'check out in this mad place?"

Re: On the Outskirts

[identity profile] provostsdog.livejournal.com 2010-02-21 11:31 pm (UTC)(link)
No, but she'd be double dating him with a cove who'd most likely not be his grandda.

"I've not decided. I thought I'd see what looked like fun," she said.

Re: On the Outskirts

[identity profile] noearsyet.livejournal.com 2010-02-21 11:33 pm (UTC)(link)
George couldn't help grinning a little at that. "Beka Cooper, lookin' fer fun," he teased. "Who'd've thought."

They were close enough to the pool's edge now and Beka decided the best reply would be to try to shove him in.
