Atlantis Resort, Bahamas | Sunday | Afternoon/Evening [Adventures]

As the group from Fandom emerged from the portal, they would be greeted by paradise. The weather was warm, immediately making any jackets and sweaters useless. The sky was a light blue flecked with clouds and, before the group, stood the sprawling Atlantis Resort. There was relaxation to be had but, never let it be said that the Bahamas didn't have many an adventure waiting for you. There's a little bit of everything here, something to satisfy every desire and we invite you to experience them all!

What happens in the Bahamas, stays in the Bahamas!

Lazy River

Robin was sure that over the next week, she would not only play with the sharks, but also rock climb and do the other way more adventurous looking river thing.

Right now, though, she almost wanted to take a nap. But that was lame. Hence, she was floating around in a relaxing, nice little river. She would also happily kick any child who splashed by to disrupt this.

The Current

All right, Jonas didn't know exactly what he was getting into but he wanted to do something that didn't involve hiding in his room. He wanted to see everything and experience new things.

This seemed like a good place to start. It didn't look too fast but it looked fun. So now, all Jonas had to do was get going. Easy enough, right?

Rock Climbing

Summer decided to try her hand at Climber's Rush, near the fitness center. She picked one of the more difficult surface in an attempt to challenge herself.

She'd get to the beach later.

Jungle Slide

This slide was apparently for kids. Angela's tiny size and the fact that she shopped in the kids' department meant that she could go on this. She wasn't one for waterslides (hurtling down plastic at high speeds onto to crash into water where so many people lost their bathing suits? No), but this was a vacation, so she thought she could maybe give it a try, and start small.

And then when she was almost at the front of the line, she got stuck behind a brother and sister who were horseplaying and pushing, and all the "Don't do that"s and "Grow up"s just made them worse.

So by the time it was her turn, Angela just folded her arms and said, "Well now I don't want to."

On the Outskirts

George had his shirt off and board shorts on so he looked the part, but he was almost staring as he looked at that immensity of a water park. Somehow the boy from the Lower City wasn't quite able to process all this was just for fun.

Give him a second though. He'd be in the middle of it soon enough.

Hopefully without helping himself to the valuables people had left in their towels.

He'd best not as there was a Dog right there. The swimsuit was more than likely Emma's choice, to Beka it was all just confusing.

"This whole island's cracked," Beka told him.

No, but the swimsuit was - wow. George couldn't help looking for a long moment.

"Aye, but in a good way," he decided. "Very good way."

"Only 'cos you're seeing too many ways to get yourselves into trouble," she told him. "They come up with the strangest things."

"They do," he agreed wholeheartedly, turning his attention back to the waterpark. "An' I won' be gettin' in trouble in th'slightest."

"You won't," Beka agreed, because she was here now and she drew a breath as he looked away. She was too stubborn to let herself be distracted. "I'm not even that good a swimmer."

Leap of Faith

Mulan thought about relaxing on the beach all day, but her curiosity led her to explore the water park instead. It was why she was waiting in line for the Leap of Faith water slide, too.

She wanted to have fun and the slide seemed like a good place to find that.

Robin was determined to go on every slide. But spotting Mulan helped him decide which one to try first.

"Hi Mulan! Is this your first trip to a water park?"

"Hi Robin," Mulan said, glancing over at him. "It's my first trip anywhere, besides Fandom, of course."

She was fairly certain water parks were pretty much non-existent is ancient China.

"I love water slides. The faster the better."

Mulan looked down at the slide. "This one looks fast."

It really did. And Robin would probably be really scared before going down. "I bet it'll feel like flying."

Makita was finding this fascinating. She'd be happy to stay down here with the sharks for hours, just watching them.

Jaina didn't have a death wish (anymore), but she tended to rush right to activities that would make you think she did, which was why she had to go walk with the sharks. The helmet wasn't attractive at all, and it was pretty clear the animals weren't really dangerous, but it was pretty astral.

And afterward, she decided to hang out by the viewing window for a while, looking towards the floor to see the people who went after her, and how they were reacting.

SO OKAY I was trying to figure out exactly what the Shark Adventure Walk thing looked like, and I found actual footage on YouTube. In case anyone was wondering!
