As the group from Fandom emerged from the portal, they would be greeted by paradise. The weather was warm, immediately making any jackets and sweaters useless. The sky was a light blue flecked with clouds and, before the group, stood the sprawling Atlantis Resort. Beyond that, miles of sandy beaches, exciting activities, delicious restaurants and anything else you might desire was there at your fingertips, just waiting to be experienced!

"Everything." Hard to find any downsides of this particular situation, wasn't it? Wasn't often Effy would admit to herself she was actually happy (because inevitably, something would come along and fuck it all up), but right now she was about as close as she ever was. Winning combination of sun, sea, alcohol and Alex.

"Everything's a pretty damn good answer," he told her, reaching over her to grab his drink again so he could take a few swallows before offering the rest to her. Getting more drunk just seemed like more fun.

Right now, everything did look good. Later, Alex might chalk it up to his intoxication but he couldn't be bothered to feel anything other than light and pretty damn content right now. Vacations apparently did wonders.

"Just means I get to stick around," he said, leaning over her shoulder and close to her now. "Hope you don't mind."

"Doesn't seem like it," she noted, sneaking a few sips from his drink since he'd offered, and eventually turning her head to one side to look at him. "Does it?"

If she did mind, he'd probably have figured it out by now. When absolutely necessary, she could be less than subtle.

"It doesn't," he said, grinning lazily at her. He closed that last bit of distance, caught a quick kiss from her and then pulled back again. "Works out since I wasn't going to leave."

Imagine that. Instead, he was going to lean a little closer, snag a quick kiss and then move enough to whisper something pretty explicit and dirty in her ear.

"Everything include that?" he asked, trying for innocence but pretty much failing. "Just curious."

Effy wasn't even going to try and hide the smile that pulled at her lips when he started whispering in her ear. Innocent acts from either of them really were useless at this point.

"Think it can definitely include that." Surprise, surprise. "Lots of that."

"Oh, good," he said, matching her smile with one of his own. Wasn't taking much to get him to grin right now. He'd have to brood for months when they got back. "I was hoping you'd say that."

Hoping she said that and knowing she'd say that were about the same thing for him at this point in time. If she'd turned that down, then he would've been surprised.

"Lots of time for lots of that," he said, leaning closer to snag another kiss. "Lots of time."
