As the group from Fandom emerged from the portal, they would be greeted by paradise. The weather was warm, immediately making any jackets and sweaters useless. The sky was a light blue flecked with clouds and, before the group, stood the sprawling Atlantis Resort. Beyond that, miles of sandy beaches, exciting activities, delicious restaurants and anything else you might desire was there at your fingertips, just waiting to be experienced!

Rose leaned back, turning her face up to the sun. "Yeah, he totally did actually. Had to go back and forth about it a few months later. And you can try. Depends on how it goes down."

It was nice talking to someone who knew what it was like to have to fight. "Yeah. Been figuring out ways to use the jumping thing to get an edge. If people wanna attack me for it, I may as well go after them right back, huh?"

"We can try out some of the stuff you worked out sometime," Rose offered. "If you wanna see how it works when someone else is reacting." She considered it for a moment. "And when you're not actually trying to hurt the person you're jumping against."

"Wouldn't wanna break your face on accident, Rose," Griff warned. "But maybe we could get one of those girls on standby..."

"Nah, I'm not a cute boy," she snarked. But then she didn't really want to think about Dimitri's reaction if she showed up randomly hurt. "And I've been doing this how long? If I don't duck fast enough, it's my own damn fault."

"I dunno how how fair it is, just popping out of nowhere and trying to hit you," he reasoned. "But I'll do it if you say you're up for it." He did need the practice.

"Totally up for it," Rose decided. "Only way you're going to get better, right? Good for me too. The vampires we fight are freakishly fast."

Griff had to suppress a shudder at the thought of vampires. "Freakishly fast and with teeth. I prefer the guys shooting - that I can dodge."
