In the courtyard where they used to execute people. Mostly by beheading or hanging. The last person to be executed here was a Nazi war criminal.

The Yeomen are friendly, the ravens are not.

3/5 - Tower of London - Bloody Tower

The tower was originally called the Garden Tower because it was at the corner of the Queen's House garden, but during the sixteenth century its name was changed to the Bloody Tower because of its supposed association with the young Princes in the Tower, who disappeared in 1483. The proximity of the tower to the Queen's house and the style of accommodation did make it a suitable place for noble prisoners, however. Its most famous resident was Sir Walter Raleigh, for whom a second floor was added in 1605-6, and today's visitor sees the tower furnished as it might have been in the period he lived here with his wife and children (his second son was baptised in the Chapel of St Peter in 1605).

Elizabeth headed up just before sunset, hoping that she'd time it just right. The views from the top were amazing, and she watched the lights twinkle on over London.

Pip found himself up suprisingly early. Leaving Xander and Blair snoozing, he snuck down and got himself breakfast.

He toyed with the waiter abour crossoints a bit before giving in and having bacon and eggs with a hot pot of coffee.

Barley Mow Pub

Barley Mow Pub, (http://www.pubs.com/pub_details.cfm?ID=152) near the hotel.

As the traffic thunders down nearby Baker Street it’s hard to imagine that the Barley Mow was once a farmers’ pub. As London expanded and rural areas were swallowed up, so the clientele changed. The farmers were replaced by grooms and footmen. However once inside, there's definitely a village pub atmosphere. Built in 1791 the Barley Mow claims to be the oldest pub in Marylebone.
