Nadia smiled. Typical Pippi. "Just Nate. I'm from . . ." Argentina would be too obvious, and Nadia had a suspicion none of these guys would be able to see through the accent thing. "Chile. Most people can't pronounce my full name unless they're South American."

Ooo, good cover.

Mac smiled at him, "Cool, the ones you can't pronounce are always the best." There was something oddly familiar about what he was wearing, but she put it to the back of her mind. "You going to go all tourist today then?"

"Yep," she nods, "School trip. How about you? Here with your parents, friends?"

"I'm here with my . . . family. But my parents think 'vacation' meets sitting around and doing nothing, so I was going to go exploring on my own."

"Well, I don't really know what we're doing today," Mac shrugged, "but I'm sure you could tag along with us. I can't speak for the the rest of the group, but I was hoping to get some serious exploration done today."

"Oh! With all the little stalls. It was one of the places I've been thinking of taking a look around." She gave him a quizzical grin, "I've got to say, it's not a place I'd normally imagine a guy would be into."

It wasn't? Aw crap. "Well, you know, watching all the crazy shopping people . . . and I hear you can get pretty much anything there."

Mac took a last swig of tea. "Well I'm pretty much done with breakfast, so do you want to go see what we can find? (http://community.livejournal.com/fh_trips/4114.html?thread=442386#t442386)"

Nadia nodded once. "Alright. Call me Nate, by the way."
