LAX Portalocity Terminal [Saturday Morning]

The Portalocity Terminal was ready for the influx of former Fandomites it was about to receive. There were banners saying 'Welcome Fandom High', tables of refreshments for folks to enjoy while they waited for the shuttle to the hotel...

... and a lot of children in various degrees of confusion about why exactly they were there.

Johnny was more than ready to see Savannah, and he hoped Chris was going to be here. He had to mess with him about turning girl.

When Savannah stepped into the lounge, she smiled a little to see how everything was set up.

However, her smile widened noticeably when she saw Johnny. "Johnny!"

Veronica managed to arrive on time and was pleased to see that everything was all set up.

Isabel had finished up with work a bit earlier then she expected, so she caught a portal to the reunion. She was really looking forward to catching up with everyone.

The kids were a bit of a surprise and Isabel wondered if the Fandom group had gotten mixed in with another school's field trip.

His parents had explained the whole alternate reality thing to him and Nate understood the logic of it. He just hoped this other version of his parents would as well.

Though they had arrived via orbing rather than by plane or portal, Summer and Chris felt it was still necessary to stop by the Portalcity terminal to greet their friends.

"This is going to be an awesome weekend," Summer declared.

"It definitely is," Chris agreed, holding tight to her hand. "I hope that having a fun, happy time with all of us will help Savannah."

Yes, he was still worried about her. It was in the whitelighter contract.

While Anastasia was indeed, curious and confused about what she was doing here, there was something else that was even more disturbing. A little girl had sort of attached herself to her. She could only come to one conclusion.

Her baby brother had turned into a girl.

After the last two days, a trip to Disney Land and a reunion with old friends was just what Billy needed. He was still kinda hurting from the minor beating he'd received, but he was not gonna let that stop him from going on any rides.

"Daddy!" Ana launched herself at him. "Daddy, Tommy turned into a girl!"

"No!" Faith disagreed.

Adam had caught a portal with Eve and might have been a bit excited about the weekend's festivities.

"Whoa."

That may have been a reaction to the fact that this trip was actually happening or the numerous kids that happened to be in the terminal with them. Maybe a little bit of both.

"Uncle Adam!" Ana waved to him, overjoyed. "Tommy turned into a girl!" she pointed at her baby sister. The mix up had been cleared up, but she was enjoying teasing Faith.

"No!" Faith yelled, before shoving her thumb back in her mouth.

Phoebe was definitely excited about the reunion and the trip to Disneyland. She was looking forward to seeing her friends -- and getting Cole to go on some of the rides with her.

The amount of children in the terminal had her a bit confused, though. From what her powers were telling her, many of them were confused, too.

Tori had caught a portal fairly easily and was really excited for this reunion. She was a bit confused when she saw all the children in the terminal with them.

But seeing as this was a trip to Disneyland, maybe they'd been directed here on purpose?

"Hey you." Billy waved. There was a twinge in his neck from where he'd been hit the day before yesterday, but he ignored it.

Ronan was grinning as he looked around, happy to see familiar faces; the kids, however, were... worrying. Although he couldn't quite say why.

"Da!" came a call from across the room, swiftly followed by the source of the voice. "Da, there was a big whirling thing and I know you told me never to go through any portals and I tried not to but then I realised that maybe it was an adventure and I was supposed to go through and it's got to be okay because you're here, right?"

Being well over the traditional age to love this sort of thing didn't stop Shawn from looking forward to this weekend in a big way. Nice break away from the center, with Lana and friends he hadn't seen in way too long.

"I've never been to Disney," Lana admitted. "Is it wrong to be kind of really excited?"

Mike was feeling a little awkward traveling alone to Disneyland, but it couldn't be helped. Piper had flown straight back to Las Vegas after finding a strange woman in Mike's villa, and she hadn't been willing to listen to Mike's explanation that he had been that woman.

But he was making an effort to put it all behind him and enjoy a weekend catching up with former students and making new connections with people from Fandom. And he wouldn't be alone for very long…

…because Mike hadn't taken more than three steps into the terminal when he was tackle-hugged by a little girl. "Daddy, I'm so excited about going to Disneyland!" she squealed.

There were, Adah felt, far bigger contradictions in her life than the idea of going to a theme park while in a wheelchair. For her, it wasn't even about the rides, since she was unlikely to go on them even if she wasn't currently stuck sitting in a mechanical machine for mobility. It was even about the chance to go and do something with the Eel, since it wasn't like the two of them hadn't been taking a moment every once in a while for visits.

It was simply about getting out of that nmad dog flat, getting out of Atlanta, getting out of the space of air where the neurologist could breathe down her neck.

And, on the bright side, people seemed even more inclined to get out of the way of a wheelchair than they did a girl with a limp. The machine had its benefits.

It took Lee a bit to make his way through the crowd and the kids before he spotted who he was looking for. With a grin, he wandered over and said, "Hey you. Glad to see you out and about."

John's eyes widened when they arrived at the LAX portal and he spotted all the children. "I've got a bad feeling about this." He knew this trip sounded too good to be weirdness-free.

"They could just be here for the refreshments," Jaina said, almost scanning the crowd. She didn't believe that in the slightest, by the way. "And maybe they all have really neglectful parents."

Piper gladly welcomed a trip to Disneyland, but she was mostly happy for the excuse to catch up with friends and to spend some time with Lindsey.

As she looked around for anyone she knew, she noticed that there were a lot of kids around. She shrugged, figuring maybe they were part of a field trip or something.

Disney. Somehow, Dōjima had never been to any of the Disney parks as a child -- shocking, actually -- and was probably just as bouncy as any of the strange kids running around.

She was paying more attention to trying to find her friends, however, than she was to any midgets running around. Kuso, the parents should be leashing the little terrors or something. Wasn't that part of the TSA's job?

Look, he hadn't seen her since after grad. He was pretty much flying in for a tackle-like-hug, if possible. Edge sucked.

Jaye did not want to go to Disneyland. She just didn't. She had no problem catching up with some people, but really? Stick Jaye at the Happiest Place on Earth? On purpose?

Unfortunately for her, there'd been a very insistent lion, which was why Jaye was looking around specifically for anyone who might need her help so she could just get it over with, and not have to go anywhere with "Magic" in its title.

Gavin hadn't ever been to Disneyland and, when the invitation came to him, he couldn't really pass it by. So, he was there, bag on his shoulder and dodging little children without a worry.

"Hey, Pa," the little boy said, hat falling into his eyes but grin showing despite that. "We goin' on a trip?"

Parker stared around at all the little kids with narrowed eyes, then looked over at Zero. "Tell me I'm not seeing this."

"You're not seeing this," Zero told her soothingly, stopping short of a pat on the arm because it was Parker. She bit. "Just ignore the kids. It'll be good practice for when we get to Disneyland."

She hadn't processed that some of the kids looked familiar yet.

Zero had already managed to procure a soda approximately the size of her torso and was sipping at it as she walked through the airport. Parker hadn't whipped out her phone and dialed Portalocity yet for a ticket back to their LA and away from the fun, and Peter's spider-sense hadn't gone off, so she was counting this field trip a tentative success thus far.

"I'm pretty sure that's the biggest cup I've ever seen," Peter noted. "I'm almost surprised it doesn't come with a cart to carry it."

GOB's navigational skills had brought him a long, long way. He started off in the wrong direction, but eventually got to the Panama Canal. He ended up riding on a bus with his boat up through Mexico. When they got back to the ocean, it somehow took him over a month to completely miss Balboa only to end up in LA.

But he was here now and there was a party going on. And maybe - just maybe - he'd be able to pick up one or two of the girls playing Disney Princesses.

It was looking to be a good weekend.

Stark was happy he'd made it here (portals were too much like wormholes for his liking and he didn't entirely trust them), if a little nervous to be somewhere other than Fandom.

He was scanning the crowd for familiar faces while fingering the mask buckle at his throat. This would be a good trip. Right?

Dean was never going to be entirely comfortable with portals, but he'd gotten used to them, mostly. And hey, free vacations weren't things you turned down. He just hoped that he didn't run into any haunted rides like he and Alec had on their trip to Disneyworld a few years back.
