Guillermo had been tempted to spend the day at the beach like he had handwavily done yesterday but he decided to try something different and go on the waterfall trek.

He was struggling quite a bit with the walk but the views were definitely making up for it and he was more or less keeping to the group as well, he wasn't falling too far behind which he was rather pleased about.

Would one of the group drifting Guillermo's way along the trail help, too?

"Pretty amazing out here, huh?" asked Graham, leaning in a little with a grin, and terribly pleased to see him joining in on today's excursion.

It would definitely help.

Guillermo went a little red, well redder than he had already been from all the walking as he couldn’t help but think back to that really nice kiss he and Graham had shared on Friday.

“It is, I’ve never seen anything like it,” he smiled shyly, “I’m glad I decide to try this,”

He also was enjoying getting to spend more time with Graham as well.

It had been a pretty nice kiss, hadn't it? It was definitely something making a regular rotation through the cacophony of thoughts that was Graham's ever-buzzing mind, especially the part before it, with being in agreement that maybe something like that could happen more often. But now, it was mostly just on the edges of his thoughts, what with everything else going on in there now, too.

"Me, too," he said with s grin. "I thought yestersay's excursion was pretty great, too, but this one's pretty incredible so far and we haven't even gotten to the waterfall yet! I bet it's amaaaazing!"

It had been definitively been a very nice kiss and one that Guillermo would be replaying quite a bit, still not quite believing that it had happened not once but twice now.

“I didn’t go on the excursion yesterday,” Guillermo admitted, “I spent most of it at the beach, which was nice but I wanted to try something different,”

He smiled as he looked around, “this is really nice though, I’m also really looking forward to seeing what the waterfall will be like,” he added and then there was a pause, “and I’m glad we will be able to see it together,” he said shyly.

"Mmmm, I should spend a little time just enjoying the beach, too," Graham said, sighing a little wistfully, grinning big as he closed his eyes and pictured it. "But it's so hard to just be able to stay still when we could be out having adventures, you know? Especially together! I bet this waterfall is going to be amaaaazing!"

“There’s so many things to do aren’t there?” Guillermo smiled, “I don’t know how I’m going to fit everything in for the rest of the week but it’s nice being able to go out and explore,”

"Don't tell Triumph," said Graham, chuckling a little, and maybe leaning in a little more toward Guillermo, to really give that jokingly secretive nature a bit more credence, "but I went horseback riding last night, too. That was pretty great! And it's only the second day! There's still plenty more time to get in all sorts of other things!"

Guillermo was trying not to look to eager for the chance to be even closer to Graham as he leaned in when Graham did to hear his secret when he leaned in.

“You’re secret’s safe with me,” Guillermo assured him with a smile, “oh the horseback riding sounds nice, I’m sorry I missed that,” he paused, “I’ve never been horseback riding before,” he admitted.

"Ah, but you have been Triumph-back riding before!" Graham pointed out, looking rather pleased and proud of that fact. "Remember? When we went out exploring in the woods, so I could show you his favorite rock?"

Guillermo beamed at that, “I have, haven’t I? I really enjoyed that day, I …I liked spending time with you and Triumph and getting to see his favourite rock,” he went a little redder at that.

"It is a pretty great rock," Graham noted, fondly, but, before he started to make himself feel a little sad for missing his best friend right mow, he quickly added, "But, hey! I bet there will be other chances for horseback riding, this week. Maybe we can go do it together!"

“I …I would really like that,” Guillermo said, ducking his head a little, “I …if we have the chance to, …I would love to go horseback riding with you Graham,” he said a little shyly.

"Maybe tomorrow night?" Graham suggested. "We can see about maybe going horseback riding together....unless there's something else really neat going on, but zounds, it'll have to be pretty good to beat horseback riding!"

“Tomorrow night sounds perfect then,, if there’s no last minute events to go to,” Guillermo’s smile widened, “it really would have to be an incredible event, to top horseback riding,” he agreed.

"Then it's a date!" said Graham, eagerly, and meaning it exhuberantly and intentionally in every sense of the word. "...maybe. We'll just have to wait and see what tomorrow may bring!"

Guillermo smiled, thrilled at the mention of the word date, especially when Graham didn't seem to backtrack it to not mean an actual date, "I'm looking forward to it," he said enthusiastically, especially if it meant he would get to spend even more time with Graham.

"I am, too," Graham said, smiling happily at Guillermo. "It's going to be so much fun! You won't believe how tall and high up they are!"

Well, compares to Triumph, anyway.

“Are they easy to mount?” Guillermo asked, trying not to feel nervous about the idea that he could make a fool of himself in front of Graham if he struggled to even get on the horse.

He hadn’t even thought of what it would be like trying to get on a horse.

"Oh, I didn't have any trouble with them," Graham said, reassuringly.

"Althooooough," he added, a bit less so, "I am pretty used to mounting and dismounting, thanks to Triumph. But I'm sure you'll get the hang of it, too, Guillero, no problem!"

Guillermo nodded, feeling a little reassured at that, “I suppose I won’t know until I try right?” he said, “maybe I’ll be really good at horseback riding?”

He didn’t think he would be but it was nicer thinking about that than the idea of falling off a horse.
