Boracay Island, Wednesday Evening

Hope everyone isn't super sunburned from their time at the water park today because the night life of Boracay waits for no man, woman, or Zora!

Are you getting tired of perfect sunsets yet? If so, what's wrong with you?

"Definitely not. Maybe with certain gadgets."

Like flamethrower gauntlets!

"So when you say showing off..."

"My lightning's better than your lightning?" Lana suggested with a grin. "Just like anywhere, I imagine. People showing off how good they are. How much lightning they can summon, how big a rock they can incinerate. What sorts of gadgets?"

"I don't know. Depends on who's making them," Sabine said thoughtfully. "You could probably turn a lot of things into a flamethrower."

"All you need is fuel and a spark, right?" Lana said. "Put different chemicals in different fuel lines, and you could have a colourful one."

Pretty and deadly both!

"Exactly," Sabine smiled, "though that's easy if you want a one-off. If you want something you can use multiple times you need a more continuous, portable fuel source. That could be some tricky engineering."

She was totally designing this later.

"I have portable sparks, but no fuel, I'm afraid," Lana said. "How much would you need?"

The fire dancers started, and her attention was divided; it was rather pretty to watch, but there was also Sabine. "For something like that?"

"For a short term thing? Not much," Sabine said, eyeing her. "That sounds like you're thinking."

"I'm always thinking," Lana said, grinning. "Though I don't imagine you could dance like that in armour, and you wouldn't want to do anything with flamethrowers without it."

"I'm not sure I could dance like that at all," Sabine pointed out, amused.

"If you wanted to, you could," Lana said loyally. "Fighting and dancing are similar enough, aren't they?"

"Yeah, but with very different purposes," Sabine said, and grinned. "I'd be downright dangerous."

That was half a joke. She actually did think she'd do pretty well if she really tried.

"In the best of ways, I'm sure," Lana said, grinning back.

"Of course," Sabine said, and turned a little more thoughtful. "Maybe that is a project when we've gotten back to town."

"Multicoloured flamethrowers?" Lana asked.

"See what you've inspired?" Sabine teased.

"I'm devastated," Lana teased back. "How can I help?"

Sabine actually paused for a second, realizing that she was so used to doing everything herself that she hadn't expected that.

"I could always see what it's like having an assistant..."

"I could see what it's like assisting," Lana said, smiling.

"Looks like we've got an experiment then." Was it clear that she was looking forward to this? It was probably more clear than she thought it was.

It was pretty clear, but that was okay; Lana had no idea what she could do to assist, and she was still looking forward to it, too.

"Pity we don't have the equipment here."

"It's okay. It's something to work on later, and we can definitely keep ourselves busy until then," Sabine said.

"Definitely," Lana agreed. She put her arm around Sabine, looking questioningly at her.

Sabine leaned in to her, looking questioningly back at her. "What?"

"Just making sure this was okay." Lana was absolutely not blushing, damn it. Sith did not blush!

Sith probably also weren't supposed to be adorable, and yet!

"This is definitely okay," Sabine assured her.
