Restaurants 3/4

There are a variety of restaurants to choice from without even having to leave the hotel. The Indigo Restaurant, one of the most popular restaurants on the entire island, is open for dinner. Its unparalleled wine program offers Indigo diners Boracay’s best selection of wines by the glass, along with prestigious bottles of leading labels from old and new world wineries. (This is probably only exciting to the chaperones.) Sands Restaurant, with spectacular views of the ocean, perfectly capture the vibe of barefoot elegance that Discovery Shores is known for. Forno Osterio, an Italian restaurant serving lunch and dinner, puts a Sicilian flair to its otherwise eclectic menu.

It's time for another amazing sunset! If you haven't gone on a boat trip to see it, enjoy it either on the hotel's pristine section of beachfront (and conveniently close to the Sand Bar and its happy hour specials), up on the Roof Lounge with its own infinity pool, Jacuzzi, and 360 degree view of the entire island, or ignore both of those in favor of the Discovery Shores pool on the ground level. It also has a poolside bar and butlers armed with inflatable toys and snacks. #winning.

BORACAY

You could sit on the strip of White Beach that the resort runs, but there are even more fire dancers out in the public areas, so grab a snack from one of the booths selling them and enjoy the show after the fantastic sunset. After the sun goes down, the entire beach turns into an impromptu dance party. Untz untz untz--

Sabine didn't know how many of the chaperones would be gone tonight, so she'd expected a busier beach for the fire dancers tonight. Which was personally just fine by her!

Aplaya has a pretty great sunset-viewing spot, or you can try out any of the other restaurants on the island. Just let us know where you are.

Area 51 Secret Party Facility

Summer's done some valuable recon on this locale, so head over to the the Area 51 Secret Party Facility. Look for the sign on the fence in front of the Dead Forest, on the road by Lugutan Beach. Aliens welcome (Anakin checked)! Expect food stalls, music, tribal drumming, fire dancing and the usual refreshments, uniting one and all. These are some of the biggest parties around, 400 to 500 strong, and last from 11pm to sunrise. You'll be able to avoid seeing the teachers in a crowd that large which, frankly, is a lot less awkward for everyone.

While the activities set up by the school were usually fine, Sidon had discovered on these field trips that, when he went outside the general hotel area or not a designated activity, the responses he got from people were...varied. So he generally didn't venture out too much, but this was clearly a place where a seven-and-a-half-foot tall shark man was bound to be appreciated!

And he was going to make the most of it!

Okay, now this was a party! And Tisarwat was feeling pretty glad that she wasn't feeling as seasick today so that she could actually enjoy it and decided to just let loose a little.

Maybe not quite to the extent that she had during that week with the pollen, but there were an awful lot of very tempting hands around right now.

That water park had taken a lot out of Prompto (and maybe showed that he could stand to pick up a stronger, more waterproof sunscreen), but he was definitely feeling the momentum still...for now...enough to accompany Sidon in checking out this club, and he was stoked for it. Time to really break out those dance moves for real!

This seemed to be the place to be that night, and so Wayne was fine with going along with it. It was a far cry from Modean's in here, but he felt he could mingle into the scene well enough.

Astrid was going to blame Tisarwat for the fact that she was here; she'd run into her on her way to another night just sitting out on the beach, and it never really took much to convince Astrid to just go along with whatever other people were doing. It did seem a good time to try to edge into that whole goth look thing she'd tried at Tisarwat's party, too, and it was just sort of nice that she'd been conveniently invited.

Not that she was planning to do much except people watch, but it definitely made for some interesting people to watch.

Nightlife 3/4

Boracay is justly famous (or infamous) for its nightlife, so make sure you try out at least one of the night clubs.

PUB CRAWL! Starting at Epic Boracay.

You know what the best thing about this particular pub crawl (starting at the one she felt was most appropriately named for such an event) was going to be (other than, of course, the lovely people who were going along with her on this)?

The fact that Summer could actually drink something other than water and soda on it.

(Not that the Reykjavik one hadn't been lovely, and she did miss having Hera along with her this time, but, come on, she could actually drink).

It also helped that the pre-party had gone pretty well, too, so Summer was ready to hit about every single one of the damn bars on this island until she could barely stumble back to the hotel.

Which should make tomorrow fun! But that was a problem for future Summer!

Pub Crawl!

Shunsui decided that the best way to start his pub crawl was going to be going around and offering sake to everyone until they decided to either accept it or kick him out, in which case he'd then move onto the next bar and get a head start there over everyone else.

Perhaps now a perfect plan, but guaranteed an interesting one.
