"Oh, good." Lana smiled. She watched the dancers for another moment. "Have you ever thought of flame colours for your hair?"

"I don't think so," Sabine said, though it was entirely possible she'd sketched it out at some point. She changed her mind a lot. "Is that a suggestion?"

"Maybe?" Lana thought about it. "It would be striking. Blue at the base, fading through red and orange to yellow tips?"

"It sounds good," Sabine said, considering it. "I might have to sketch it out later."

She absolutely would, a hundred percent.

Lana bit her lip. "I don't know. It'd be a bit different. I don't know about the blue."

Lana grinned. "Temporary sounds good. How do you know if you'll like it before you do it? Or are you just used to knowing?"

"I play with designs a lot so I have some idea beforehand," she admitted. "But if something doesn't work out, I can always change it. If it's really bad, then I can go super short for a while. It's just hair."

"That is true," Lana said. "Hair grows out." Even if her own hair was a bit longer than Sabine's.

"When we get back, I suppose," Lana said. She put a finger in her hair and tugged at it absently, both nervous and intrigued. "When could you get the things together?"

"Not long, it's a quick pickup," Sabine told her, watching her play with her hair.

"It's silly to be nervous, isn't it?" She rolled her eyes. "Even if I hate it, which I probably won't, I could dye it black or shave it off, and nobody would care."

That actually made Lana feel a lot better. Not the washing out part. She blew out a breath and smiled at Sabine. "With a lot more than my hair, yes."
