Bali Hai, Friday evening

There was an impromptu festival going on over on Bali Hai. The beach was decked out with streamers and unlit torches, and the mood was definitely on the gleeful side of happy.

The Fandomites will be made welcome, directed down towards the water for those who want to feed the dolphins, or watch while others do. Those who are more interested in libations than aquatic mammals will find drinks and snacks aplenty up at the swing bar.

Later, once the sun sets, there will be a performance of the island's best fire dancers, before everyone wanders back to Fandom.

[ooc: Up early for SP!
Plz to be waiting for the OCD, thanks.
3...2...1...and we have OCD. ETA: Assume handwavy IC knowledge it's happening, and it's open to all!]

"Is it better this way?" she wondered, considering her own drink and looking over at the other boy's.

"I don't know, but I'm getting smashed," he said, slipping back on his swing and accidentally dripping some icy beverage over his chest. "Wow that's cold!" he said, rubbing it into his skin with a hand.

Aravis kind of caught herself staring before she looked away with a blush, some vestige of her upbringing suddenly making an appearance. "Smashed?"

"Like drunk, but more," Toby explained. "Have we met? I keep forgetting the people I meet. I'm Toby."

"We haven't, as far as I'm aware. I'm Aravis." She ducked her head, the setting, she felt, not warranting a proper curtsy. Plus he was probably all sticky and damp from spilling his drink and she would feel bizarre curtsying to someone sticky and damp. "A pleasure to meet you, Toby."

He was damp, but never sticky. Well, at least not right now, Kevin wasn't around.

"Do you know any lesbians around here?" He was searching, yes.

Aravis only knew that word secondhand, and by rumor, and from living in Fandom for a year. "Women who fancy women? Um. Not...that I know of. Is there a reason you need one?"

He looked like a boy, after all. What use would a boy have with a girl who liked girls?

"I miss my lesbian friends," Toby sighed, gulping from his dai- frozen banana alcohol thing.

"They did magic when they weren't doing each other."

Aravis blushed, but shoved that aside. "You know witches? Who are lesbians?"
